Huls, 71, died Friday, March 16, 2001. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Grace Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Aaron Summers, pastor, and Don Taylor officiating. Military graveside services will follow in Elmhurst Cemetery. Arrangements are by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. On June 15, 1952, Mr. Huls was united in marriage to Ozema Mayhan in Felt, Okla., following his service to his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army. In May 1969, the family moved to Guymon from Boise City, where he went into partnership with E.C. Patton and formed their own mechanic shop, P&H Auto Repair. Survivors include his wife of almost 49 years, Ozema; two children, Harvey Leon Huls of Tishomingo and Sherril Kisner of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Rosa Fishgrab of Bosque Farms, N.M.; and five grandchildren. Mr. Tyler was born on the Tyler ranch in Hansford County and spent his early years in Oklahoma City. He attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Colorado. Following his service in the Army Air Corps during World War II, he returned to Guymon. He spent his working years in ranching, farming and the real estate business. He married Patricia Finerty in 1937. She died in May 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Patsy Tyler of Boulder, Colo.; a son, Stan Tyler of Houston; his stepmother, Thyra Tyler Fajen of Odessa, Texas; a brother, Stanley Tyler of Amarillo; two stepbrothers, Owen Tyler of Odessa and Byron Tyler of Tyler, Texas; and two grandchildren. She moved to Oklahoma in 1995. Mrs. Harrington was a member of First Baptist Church, South Georgia Baptist Church and Paramount Terrace Christian Church. She was presently a member of Southside Baptist Church in Poteau, Okla. She was preceded in death by a sister, Johnnie Moreland; and her father, Dick Pickett. Mr. Lewis was born in Wellington on Aug. 15, 1925. He graduated from Wellington High School in 1942 and from the University of North Texas in 1948. He married Pat McCarthy June 3, 1948, in Denton. He owned Lewis Grocery in Wellington for 43 years, retiring in 1990. He was a former member of Wellington Rotary Club and the Collingsworth County Public Library Board. A World War II Navy veteran, he was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Swindle was one of 12 siblings born to George Daniel and Louisa Cossey on April 3, 1905 in Tecumseh, Okla. She married Emmett M. Swindle Feb. 10, 1923 in Abilene. He died Aug. 1, 1956. She had been a resident of Pampa for over 60 years. She was an employee of Pampa Independent School District for 27 years, managing the Pampa High School cafeteria before her retirement. She remained a loyal Harvester supporter. Mrs. Swindle was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Her faith and love for her family and friends are her legacy. She was preceded in death by two sons-in-law, David L. Shelton Sr., and Bob Shoulders; and by six brothers and three sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Shoulders and Glyndene Shelton, both of Pampa; two sisters, Zelda Adair and her husband, O.T., of Lake Arrowhead and Isabel Davis of Odessa; three grandchildren, Michael L. Shoulders, David L. Shelton Jr. and wife, Tammy, all of Amarillo and Pat Ellen Chambers and husband, Kenneth, of Dawn; two greatgrandchildren, Katie Sue Shelton of Amarillo and Kenny Chambers and wife, Renae, of McLean; two great-great-granddaughters, Haley and Devin Chambers of McLean; and nieces, nephews and many loving friends. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sunray Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Hilton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Morton had been a Sunray resident since 1961. She married Wendell Morton Jan. 13, 1952, in Hereford. She was a longtime member of Xi Omega Zeta. She was a sales clerk for 25 years at Broxson's Furniture in Sunray. Survivors include her husband, Wendell Morton; two sons, Steve Morton of Ponca City, Okla., and Stanley Morton of Sunray; a daughter, Suzanne Morton of Amarillo; a brother, Loyd Brooks of Cimarron, N.M.; a sister, Mona Brooks of Wylie; 11 grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
