Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Truman Ledbetter, pastor, and Peter Willis of Baptist St. Anthony's Pastoral Counseling Service officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley by Robertson Funeral Directors. Mr. Frye was born Oct. 1, 1946, in Wetumka, Okla., and was a resident of Fort Worth before moving to Clarendon three years ago. He married Linda Faye Naylor on Aug. 24, 1968, in Dumas. He was employed at Pantex as a budget analyst and accountant. He was a 1st Lt. in the Army, having served on the eastern front during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Clarendon VFW Post No. 7782 and the Civil Air Patrol. He was a member of First Baptist Church where he worked with the RA Group and Clarendon College Ministry. Survivors include his wife; a son, Tyler Blake Frye of Clarendon; two daughters, Tara Nicole Jackson of Arlington and Jamie Heather Morrow of Clarendon; his parents, Everett Eugene Frye and Margaret "Babe" Frye, both of Dumas; two sisters, Judy O'Valle of Amarillo and Patsy Day of Borger; and a grandson, Andrew Ryan Frye of Arlington. Amarillo Globe-News, Dec. 22, 2001 Bill Stephens PAMPA - Bill Stephens, 70, died Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001, in Amarillo. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with Dr. Randy White, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Stephens was born May 31, 1931, in Northfield, to Walter and Dessie Stephens. He attended Childress public schools and played semi-pro baseball for four years after graduation. He married Bobbie Sue Kent on Feb. 21, 1977, in Pampa. He was a member of Pampa Optimist Club for many years where he coached baseball and basketball. He served as a secretary and as president, and was on the board of directors for the club. He was a member of National Association of Realtors, Texas Realtors Association and the Pampa Board of Realtors where he served as president in 1996 and 1998. He was a sales associate for Quentin Williams Realtors at the time of his death. He served on the board of directors of Cabot and IRI Credit Unions for 10 years. He was an active member of First Baptist Church. He served as a director of the single adult department for several years and was serving as director of the adult 7 Sunday school department at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Barry; and a stepson, Lindel Kent. Bruce Green and the Rev. James A. Mock Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home. Mr. McLeod was born Jan. 10, 1937. He married Nelda Leatherman on Oct. 24, 1957, in Lovington, N.M. He was a veteran and served in the Army. He was a stockman in the horse, cattle and sheep business. He had lived in Plainview since 1998, coming from Amarillo. He was a Baptist and a member of Colonial Baptist Church in Plainview. He was a member of National Cutting Horse Association and American Border Collie Association. He was preceded in death by his father, Rock McLeod; his mother, Sybil Wilson; and two sons, David Robert McLeod and Jeffery Paul McLeod. She married Harold Moore on Jan. 22, 1933. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1970; a daughter, Betty Jean Brown; and two grandchildren, Lucas Brown and Jackie Stuart.
