He moved from Dallas to Amarillo in 1947. Mrs. Garcia was owner and operator of Annie's Drive-In from 1976 to 1994. She was well known for opening her door and heart to people in need. Interment will be in Llano Cemetery Mausoleum. Mrs. Kielpinski was born in Plainview. A resident of Amarillo for 57 years, she graduated from Amarillo High School and Stephens College in Columbia, Mo. She was active in the nursing home industry for many years in San Antonio and Amarillo. She was a longtime member of the American Contract Bridge League and the first woman Life Master Player in West Texas. Mrs. Kielpinski was a member of Central Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, A.L. Graham Jr., in 1965. She married Phillip Kielpinski in 1968 at Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; three sons, William L. Graham, Richard E. Graham and Alan L. Graham, all of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; and three daughters-in-law, Ursula Graham, Cherry Graham and Holly Graham. The family will be at 3232 S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd., Amarillo, with the Rev. Jeff Raines, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger. Mr. Reese was born in Bokhoma, and was a longtime resident of Oklahoma. He graduated from Oklahoma A&M University with a degree in industrial engineering. He was a paratrooper in the Army, and a veteran of World War II. He married Peggy Bumgarner on Aug. 22, 1947, in High Point, N.C. She died in 1994. Mr. Reese retired as vice president of Service Drilling Co. in Borger. He had lived in Borger from 1955 until 1984, when he moved to Falconhead, Okla. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Borger. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Haning of Amarillo; two sons, Dan Reese of Amarillo and Roy Reese Jr. of Midland; a brother, Dan Reese of Tennessee; two sisters, Sarah Taylor of Florida and Wilma Bell of California; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today in Greenlawn Funeral Home at Branson. The body has been cremated and burial will be at a later date. Mrs. Wilson was born Feb. 25, 1951, in Shattuck, Okla. At the age of 3 months she moved with her parents to Amarillo, where she was raised. Mrs. Fisher was born April 27, 1915, in Blooming Grove to Dr. J.S. and Mrs. Nora Stubbs. A graduate of Texas Woman's University in Denton, she taught in Amarillo public schools for 25 years. Survivors include a son, Charles R. Fisher of Kemah; a sister, Mrs. Eloise Larson of Andover, Mass.; and four grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to a local hospice. Amarillo Daily News, March 22, 2001 Area Joan M. Derrick DUMAS - Joan M. Derrick, 64, formerly of Dumas, died Wednesday, March 14, 2001, in Bremerton, Wash. Services were Tuesday, March 20, in Washington State. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m., Saturday, March 24, in First Christian Church of Dumas. Cremation took place in Washington State. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St., Amarillo. Mrs. Derrick was born in Sejita on Feb. 26, 1937. She had lived and worked in Moore County until September 1998. She moved to Kingston, Wash., where she was a foster parent for underprivileged children. Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Krebbs, of Flora Vista, N.M.; three sons, Darrell Derrick and Wendell Derrick, both of Dumas, and Randall Derrick of Amarillo; a sister, Joyce Verley, of Kingston; three brothers, Gerald Boyd of the Philippines and Horace Boyd and Conrad Boyd, both of Dumas; and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Millard served in the Navy during World War II aboard an LST ship tanker before working as an operator at the Phillips Petroleum Co. Carbon Black Plant. He married Louise Draper on Jan. 28, 1941, at Claremore, Okla. Survivors include his wife; five sons, William F. Millard of Norwich, N.Y., Mitchell E. Millard of Swansboro, N.C., Anthony C. Millard of Austin, Andrew J. Millard of Mesquite and Timothy A. Millard of Borger; a daughter, Kathryn Bishop of San Marcos; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
