Graveside services will be at noon Monday in Memory Gardens Cemetery with the Rev. J.W. Cook officiating. Arrangements are by Chapel of Hope Funeral Home in Hobbs. Mr. Edmond lived in Amarillo for 50 years, and Hobbs for two years. He was a custodian for the Amarillo Independent School District until retirement. Survivors include many nieces and nephews including William Hughes of Waxahachie, Texas; Erma Burns of Lubbock, Texas; Betty Cook of Hobbs; Addie Smith of Riverside, Calif.; Linda Lee of Pampa, Texas; and Wanda Hughes of Hobbs. Amarillo Globe-News, June 23, 2001 Carol Hurley Brown CLAYTON, N.M. - Carol Hurley Brown, 84, died Thursday, June 21, 2001. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bob Boyd, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery with arrangements by Hass Funeral Directors. Mrs. Brown married William E. "Bill" Brown in 1937. She was a 1933 graduate of Clayton High School. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Schuster of Albuquerque; a son, Nick Brown of Clayton; a sister, Marion Lord of Albuquerque; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Boone Gracie E. Boone, 79, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, June 19, 2001, in Lewisville. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in the Chapel of Memories at Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Shelburne, minister of Washington Avenue Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Boone was born in Amarillo on Feb. 8, 1922. She was a member of the Washington Avenue Christian Church. She married Albert M. Boone May 17, 1942, in Dalhart. They moved to New Braunfels in 1966, before returning to Amarillo in 1981. He preceded her in death on July 27, 1993. Survivors include two sons, Paul R. Boone of New Braunfels and James L. Boone of Lewisville; a brother, E.A. Cannon Jr., of Iowa; a sister, Catherine Johnson of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Arnold was born in Amarillo. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Jancel Arnold Maldonado of Riverside; one grandson and one granddaughter. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Directors. Mr. McAdam was born May 14, 1942, to Homer and E. Lee McAdam. He graduated from Tascosa High School. Survivors include a sister, Vicki Dean of Amarillo; a niece; one great-nephew and one aunt.
