Prayer services were at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in White Deer with the Rev. John Valdez, pastor of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, officiating. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. today at the church. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery at White Deer. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage in Amarillo. Mrs. Bichsel was born in Kerrville. She lived in Pampa most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Joseph Bichsel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mrs. McReynolds was born Feb. 2, 1914, in Wellington to Chester and Edna E. Owens Lowry. She graduated from Wellington High School. She married William McReynolds on Oct. 19, 1932 at Hollis, Okla. She was a homemaker and child care provider. Mrs. McReynolds had been a resident of Amarillo for 50 years before moving to Miami four years ago. She had been a member of Second Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for more than 20 years. She was currently a member of First Baptist Church in Miami. She was preceded in death by her husband, "Bill" McReynolds, in 1988; a grandson, Michael McReynolds, in 1994; and two brothers, Earl Lowry and Bob Lowry. Survivors include two sons, Larry McReynolds of Miami, and Charles McReynolds of Pahrump, Nev.; two daughters, Elizabeth Caufield of Olympia, Wash., and Mary Bailey of Amarillo; two sisters, Oma Lee Parsons of Carthage and Louis Smith of Wellington; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchildren. Atkin on June 29, 1943 in Las Vegas. They moved to Hereford in 1978 from Blyth, Calif. Survivors include his wife, Iva of the home; four sons, Clifton C. Whipple of Republic, Wash., Raymond L. Whipple of Bluff, Utah, Dallas Whipple and Melvin C. Whipple, both of Hereford; two daughters, Connie A. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor, and Mr. Scott Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Mr. Petty was born in Sadler. He married Inez Skiver on Oct. 19, 1940, in Fob, Okla. He was a farmer prior to 1951, when he moved to Borger from Enos, Okla. He worked as a milkman for Plains Creamery for about 20 years. He then worked as a pipefitter for Fish Construction and had a salvage yard on 10th Street. He had a garden he was very proud of and often gave others produce from it. He was a member of Riverview Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Inez Petty of the home; two sons, Mike and Carol Petty and Tim and Cara Petty, all of Borger; four daughters, Dale and Marcella Hightower of Childress, Bob and Linda Kittell, Paul and Nancy Marshall and Randy and Tammy Gressett, all of Borger; three brothers, Thurman Thornton of Ruston, La., Leon Thornton of Weatherford, Elvie Thornton of Marshall, Okla.; a sister, Sylvia Robertson of Marshall; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Hughes was an equipment operator for the State of Texas Highway Department for 38 years, retiring in 1990. Herman Krauel of Friona officiating. Burial will be in Friona Cemetery in Friona. Arrangements are by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home. Mr. Osborn was born June 18, 1917, in McLean. He was a farmer and a member of Friona United Methodist Church in Friona. He married Valoris Shaffer on May 3, 1942, in Friona. At Friona United Methodist Church, he served on the administrative board, finance committee, pastor parish relations committee and board of trustees. He was an usher for more than 25 years and a church school superintendent for several years and was a church conference delegate. He was a director at Friona Wheat Growers. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He served in the European theater from 1941 to 1945. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He had lived in Friona since 1927, moving from Abernathy. Survivors include his wife, Valoris of Friona; a daughter, Karen Renner of Friona; a son, Dr. Joel C. He was a free-lance commercial artist and an illustrator of numerous books. Burial will be in Rhea Cemetery in Rhea community, west of Friona. Arrangements are by Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home. Mrs. Parson was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Friona. She married Thomas Parson on July 17, 1939, in Seminole. She had been a resident of the Friona area for 62 years, moving from Tatum, N.M. She was involved in Women's Missionary Union associational work for many years. She was organization director of the Sunbeams pre-school missionary group of WMU. She served on the Llanos-Altos associational executive board and was involved in hiring the director of missions. She and her husband reared more than 50 foster children over the years. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Parson of Friona; four sons, T.E. Parson of Houston, the Rev. Ellis Parson of Summerfield, Neal Parson of Amarillo and Albert Parson of Hereford; four daughters, Elaine Ware of Lindsey, Okla., Nancy Dryer of Clovis, Dora Parson of Friona and Alice Parson of Lubbock; a sister, Nita Holly of Artesia, N.M.; a brother, Danny Wilson of Azle; 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Gosnell was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Gosnell, in 1978. They married in 1948 at Little Rock, Ark. They moved to Amarillo in 1955 from Childress. She was a member of R.S.V.P. and volunteered at the Amarillo Ronald McDonald House.
