Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Todd Dyess, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Shackelford was born Sept. 26, 1903, in Indian Territory, Okla. She married James Todd Shackelford in 1924 in Amarillo. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1924. She graduated from Fort Lewis College in Colorado and from Hills Business School in Oklahoma. She worked for the City of Pampa, Culberson-Stowers Chevrolet, and the International Harvester Tractor Co. as secretary and bookkeeper, retiring in 1967. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday school class. She also was a member of the Pampa Chapter No. 65 Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1933; a daughter, Doris Luscombe in 1982; and a son, Dale Shackleford in 1993. Survivors include one daughter, Velma Enoch of Somerset, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Joe Luscombe and Jim Luscombe, both of Amarillo, Leigh Ann Sims of Bonham, Cindy Hahn and Caryn Enoch, both of Somerset, Randy Shackelford of Houston and Stacy Ligon of Austin; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Moseley had lived in Friona since 1953 moving from Childress. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married John A. Wright on Jan. 26, 1938, in Childress. He died Jan. 12, 1973. She married David Moseley on March 24, 1976, in Childress. He died March 31, 1985. Survivors include a son, Jarrell Wright of Friona; two sisters, Jewel Sharp and Mary Helen Teague, both of Childress; a brother, Harley White of Lubbock; and three grandchildren, Dianna Wright of Dallas, Faith Herring of Lubbock and Jason Wright of Friona. Elvis Pitts, pastor of Faith Baptist Church, and the Rev. Rick Parnell, associate pastor of Central Baptist Church in Pampa, officiating. Burial will be in Quail Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Mr. Pendergrass, a longtime resident of Collingsworth County, was born Aug. 23, 1910, to Ruben Green Pendergrass and Alice Funderburg Pendergrass in Comanche County. He was preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Gwennie Lou Long Pendergrass, on Oct. 5, 1998. Survivors include a son, Tommy Carl Pendergrass of Bridgeport; three daughters, Maud Minyard of Pampa, Dorothy Parker of Wellington and Melba Nunnelley of Amarillo; a brother, John Edward Pendergrass of Sweetwater; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Georgia St. Mrs. Cowan was born in Amarillo in 1921. She attended Amarillo High School and the University of Texas. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and the Amarillo Junior League. She married Steve Cowan in Montgomery, Ala., in 1943. He preceded her in death in 1978, after 35 years of marriage. She was preceded in death by two sons: Allen Carr, in 1988, at Riverside, Calif.; and Bobby Carr, in 1988, at Amarillo.
