Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Ivy Chapel, 2820 Virginia Circle, with Dr. G.A. Roach, director of pastoral Care at Northwest Texas Healthcare System, officiating. Military rites are by D.A.V. Chapter 26. Mr. Williams was born in Spanish Fort and had been a resident of Vega for 21 years. He served with the Army during World War II. He was a Baptist. He married Betty Higginbotham in 1947 at Lubbock. He was preceded in death by a brother, Nolan Williams, in 1968 and a sister, Waldene Briarly, in 1997. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Beverly George and Stacy Olsen, both of Amarillo, and Gloria Aitken of Guthrie, Okla.; a son, Mike Williams of Waco; a sister, Doris Davis of Surprise, Ariz.; a brother, Bud Williams of Bowie; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Mr. Hudson graduated from the University of Texas and Sam Houston State. He began his corrections career in 1981 with the Texas Department of Corrections and later was an assistant warden at the William P. Clements Jr. Facility in Amarillo, Texas. In January of 1996, he left the public sector and joined Corrections Corp. of America. Survivors include his wife, Jan; and four children, Kealan, Taylor, Emily and Cooper. Mr. Meadors was born Nov. 26, 1915, at Wichita Falls, to John Walter and Ethel Hills Meadors. He served in the Navy as an aviation storekeeper 1st Class aboard the USS Salerno Bay in World War II. He had been a Valley resident since 1983. He was a retired salesman for Morrow-Thomas Industrial Supply Co. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Gill Meadors, in 1993. Survivors include two sons, Henry Bennett Meadors Jr. and wife, Celia, of Amarillo and John Charles Meadors and wife, Gloria, of Texarkana; a daughter, Gina Rebecca Witten and husband, Ray, of Arroyo City; five grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Mr. McGill was born July 22, 1939, at Erick, Okla. He was a pipeline welder with 798 Union most of his career life.
