Mathis Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Southwest Baptist Church with J. Alan Ford, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mr. Mathis was a resident of Amarillo. He worked for the city. He married Sandy Kenner in 1999 at Amarillo. He was preceded in death by a sister, Delinda Owens in 1975 and a son, Greg Wayne Mathis in 1998. Survivors include his wife; four sons, Chris Davis of Buffalo, N.Y., Jonathan Mathis and Jason Smithee, both of Amarillo, and Jeremy Carey and wife, Keely of Edgewood, N.M.; two brothers, Kirby Mathis and Melfin Mathis, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Sharon Mathis of Amarillo and Colleen Schnltz of South Dakota; a niece, Alice Greene of Amarillo; a nephew, Michael L. Mathis of Amarillo; and a grandchild, Jessica Carey of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to Southwest Baptist Church. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 24, 2001 Raphael Merton Keeney Raphael Merton Keeney, 94, of Amarillo, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2001. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with Dr. Stan Coffey, pastor of San Jacinto Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Keeney was born June 17, 1907, at Indian Territory, Okla. He married Clarice Jones on Dec. 26, 1925, at Ida Belle, Okla. They celebrated their 75th anniversary on Dec. 26, 2000. They moved to Dumas from Hall County in 1934. They owned and operated Keeney Bakery in Dumas until 1955, then moved to Amarillo where they operated a bakery until his retirement in 1970. He had been a member of San Jacinto Baptist Church since 1960 and was a 56-year member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife; three sons, R.M. "Mert" Keeney of Dumas, Stanley Keeney of Amarillo and A.E. Keeney of Fritch; a daughter, Theresa Jackson of Stratford; a brother, Leo Keeney of Amarillo; a sister, Theresa Sanders of Bowie; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to San Jacinto Baptist Church, Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice or a favorite charity. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Flanagan was born in Vernon and had been an Amarillo resident for 42 years. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She married Earl E. Flanagan on Feb. 11, 1933, at Erick, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 26, 1973. Survivors include a daughter, Earline Whitecotton of Amarillo; two sons, Rickey Flanagan of Amarillo and Donald Ray Flanagan of Deer Park; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. Mr. Tramel was born in Fort Towson. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Mr. Perrin was known for being a contractor. For 45 years he built and remodeled many churches, homes and hospitals. Mr. Crum was born in Dimmitt and was a Brownsville resident. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1961. He served in the Army from 1962-1964 and graduated from Baylor Law School in 1967. He was county attorney in Susbee from 1970-1973 and was an attorney in Dallas in 1973. He moved to Brownsville in 1980. Survivors include his wife, Adela Garza Crum; two sons, Barry Crum of Marietta, Ga., and Scot Louis Crum of Brownsville; a daughter, Tonya Wyatt and husband, Joseph, of Marietta; and three grandchildren, Emily Carole Wyatt, Alyssa Morgan Wyatt and Joseph Kevin Wyatt, all of Marietta. Mrs. Sisson was a resident of Phillips for 53 years before moving to Borger in 1989. She was a homemaker and care giver.
