Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Brooks Funeral Directors Chapel of Happy with the Rev. Mike Melcher officiating. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mike Melcher officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery. Mr. Irlbeck was born Feb. 20, 1940, to Edward and Mary Irlbeck, on the family farm just south of Happy. He attended school in Happy, graduating in 1958. He farmed in the Happy area for most of his life, raising cattle and horses. Gene enjoyed hunting with friends for coyotes, deer, quail, pheasant, and dove. Each year Gene gathered family and friends together and hosted a huge barbecue for all to enjoy. He was a faithful Dallas Cowboy fan. Mr. Irlbeck was a member of the Holy Name Catholic Church in Happy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Justine Irlbeck in 1984; a sister, Delorse Wilhelm, in 1984; and his father, Ed Irlbeck, in 1996. Survivors include three brothers, Daniel Irlbeck of Lubbock, David Irlbeck of Grygla, Minn., and Ken Irlbeck of Happy; three sisters, Frances Gabel of Tucumcari, N.M., Christine Irlbeck of Lubbock and Karen Cox of Midland; 25 nieces and nephews; 42 great-nieces and great-nephews. She was a homemaker. Philip Hilton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lieb Cemetery of Hutchinson County by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Boney had been a Moore and Sherman County resident since 1927. She taught elementary school for many years at Pike and in the Spurlock community in a one-room schoolhouse. She was born Aug. 26, 1905, in Texarkana. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Sunray. She married Cap Boney on Nov. 23, 1928, in Stratford. He preceded her in death in 1985. She also was preceded in death by sons Leslie Boney in 1961; and Fred Boney in 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Beulah Ann Woodruff of Amarillo; grandchildren, Kenneth Woodruff, Renda Phelps, Barbara Myers, Jerry Woodruff, Paul Woodruff, and Jason Boney; 13 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Washington St. Amarillo Globe-News, July 25, 2001 Kenneth Kane Lamkin Kenneth Kane Lamkin, 41, died Sunday, July 22, 2001. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the Bell Avenue Chapel of Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St., with Monsignor Joseph Tash, pastor of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, officiating. Mr. Lamkin died Sunday evening from injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident. He was born July 27, 1959, in Amarillo and had been a lifelong resident. He graduated from Tascosa High School. He received his undergraduate degree from West Texas State University and his pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Okla. Mr. Lamkin was a pharmacist in the Panhandle for 14 years and the chief pharmacist at Wal-Mart in Dumas at the time of his death. While in school he was a member of the Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Kane and Pam Hall were united in marriage Jan. 14, 1983, in Amarillo. He attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Kane had worked with the Ducks Unlimited organization since 1986, and was currently serving as president of the Canyon Chapter of Ducks Unlimited. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Khury Kane Lamkin, Kolby Kline Lamkin and Krayton Kord Lamkin; his parents, Kenneth and Nita Lamkin of Amarillo; a sister, Kenda Lamkin Flores of Sullivan, Mo.; and a grandmother, Alice Howard McGinnis of Amarillo. Mr. Fish was born July 10, 1930, in Beaver County, to Robert Eugene and Annie Belle (Clark) Fish. He was a farmer and retired from Beaver County District No. 3. Survivors include three daughters, Debra Triplett of Big Bear, Calif., Deana Juarez of Modesto, Calif., and Jami Harris of Enid; two brothers, Roy Fish of Turpin and James Fish of Elmwood; two sisters, Dama Miller and Minnie Clements, both of Amarillo; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Longview Cemetery. The Rev. Lockett was a former pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church and St. John Baptist Church of Amarillo. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Thelma Reeves Lockett; two daughters, Carolyn Lockett Hall and Marilyn Lockett Scott and her husband, Ray D.
