Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Westlawn Cemetery in Borger with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Helper was a homemaker. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Ricky Helper of Borger; a daughter, Sherry Dillard of Borger; her mother, Glennie Mayes of Grapevine; three sisters, Anna Alexander of Tulsa, Okla.; Jewel Moss and Clara Grantland, both of Grapevine; one brother, Mitchell Mayes of Grapevine, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 27, 2001 Mary Elizabeth Ellen White CANADIAN - Mary Elizabeth Ellen White, 91, died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001. Memorial services will be arranged at a later time. Burial was Friday at Edith Ford Memorial Cemetery by Stickley-Hill Funeral Directors. Mrs. White was born to Eddie and Ida Scantlin Martin in McLean County, Okla. She was a domestic housekeeper. Survivors include three sons, Donovan James White of Palos Verdes, Calif., Glen Hubert White of Ozark, Ark., and Harmon Eddie White of Canadian; three sisters, Geneva Spriggs and Dolly Slaughter, both of Clovis, N.M., and Vera Reynolds of California; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with the Rev. Francisco Perez officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Salinas had been a resident of Pampa for 40 years. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Liz Ramirez of Pampa; a son, Andrew Salinas Jr. of Pampa; three sisters, Carmen Gutierrez of El Paso, Rosa Castanon of Abilene, and Josie Moreno of California; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Oct. 27, 2001 Amarillo Dorothy O. Green Dorothy O. Green, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. Mrs. Green was born Dec. 26, 1912, in Mineral, Kan. She married Richard "Frank" Green on Jan. 8, 1930. They were blessed with three children, Richard Frank Jr., Carol Dolores and Linda Rae. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard "Frank" Sr. on April 27, 1971, and a son, Richard Frank Jr. in 1934, 17 days after his birth. Mrs. Green spent most of her life in Neosho, Mo. She was a Licensed Vocational Nurse before her retirement in 1972. Survivors include her daughters, Carol Simmons and Linda Pearson, both of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Jayne Young, Connie Wiser and Richard Simmons; and four great-grandchildren. Burial will be at Sunset Terrace in Farwell, Texas, under the direction of Muffley Funeral Home of Clovis. Mrs. Dunn was a beautician and instructed at Walker Beauty School in Clovis. She married Billy J. Dunn. Survivors include her husband, Billy J. Dunn; a son, Roy Miller of Santa Fe; two daughters, Margaret Dindinger and Junelle Hopingardner, both of Clovis; four step-daughters, Vera Christenson of Clovis, Linda Ruby of Denver, Colo., Mari Amacher of Greenville, S.C., and Patricia Dunn of Aliso Viejo, Calif.; a brother, A.F. "Tuck" Walker of Clovis; a sister, June Finley of Clovis; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christ Full Gospel Church in Fort Sumner with the Rev. Mike Teeter officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Fort Sumner Cemetery under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to noon Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Fox owned and operated K & O Trucking Co. in Las Cruces for more than 23 years. He moved his company to Portales in 1981 and worked for several construction companies in eastern New Mexico. Survivors include his mother, Ada Mae Fox of Fort Sumner; a brother, Jimmy Fox of Albuquerque; two sisters, Cloreta Hawk of Clovis and Maurcenia Dewbre of Fort Sumner; two nieces and two nephews. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at East Mound Cemetery in Matador with the Rev. Jack Boggs of the First Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mr. Wilkinson was a lifelong resident of Motley County and a retired farmer and stockman. He was married to Fern Helvey in 1954. She died in 1994. Mrs. Flowers retired from Coon Nursing Home in Dalhart and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Dumas. She will be missed by all who loved her. He was 34. Clements, who was born in Wichita Falls, worked at the newspaper from 1991 to 1992 and again from 1995 to 2001.
