Services will be at 2 p.m. today in N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, Pioneer Chapel, 2615 Paramount Blvd. with the Rev. Scott Greer of Paramount Terrace Christian Church officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Eitner was living in Castle Rock at the time of her death. She married Carl Thomas Eitner on April 16, 1960, at Amarillo. He preceded her in death on May 5, 1994. Survivors include three sons, Steve Panger and Tom Panger, both of Amarillo and Tracy Eitner of Castle Rock; a sister, Vickie Henderson of Amarillo; and four grandchildren. Amarillo Daily News, March 30, 2001 Billy Joe Kunkel Billy Joe Kunkel, 73, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Southwest Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen Ford officiating. Cremation and arrangements are by Holley Funeral Home of Canyon. Mr. Kunkel was a manager for the Amarillo Helium Plant. He loved to "RV". Survivors include his wife, Juanita; two daughters, Jo Ann Schaefer of Clarendon and Belva Hubbard of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. "Babe" Walker, 79, of Lake Tanglewood, died Wednesday, March 28, 2001. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Marvin James officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors rendered by Disabled American Veterans Chapter No. 26. Mr. Walker was born June 25, 1921, in Malone. He spent much of his youth in El Paso and Carrizozo, N.M. He attended New Mexico State in Las Cruces, N.M., on an athletic scholarship. He was a Marine Corsair fighter pilot during World War II, concentrating in the Japan / Okinawa Theater. His squadron flew over the Missouri Battleship when General MacArthur sighted the Peace Treaty with Japan. After the war, he married Janice Shumate of Amarillo. Mr. Walker became involved in the trucking business with his brother, W.L. Walker, in the 1940s. He was manager of Steere Tank Lines and later worked for Groendyke Tank Lines and Whitfield Tank Lines until 1968. He farmed and ranched on his property near Canyon until his death. He was a member of the Lake Tanglewood Community Church. "Babe" was a coach for many years for Kids, Inc. football, YMCA baseball and American Legion baseball. Survivors include his wife, Janice; a son, Ronnie Walker of Amarillo; a daughter, Jan Warren of Amarillo; and three grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to DAV Chapter No. 26, c/o R.E. Mrs. Caddell was a homemaker. She was a Pentecostal. Survivors include two daughters, Gay Herring and Joyce Wells, both of Amarillo; three sisters, Marie Ray of Borger, Lara Mae Crow of Fritch and Dorothy Enterline of Perryton; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mrs. Martin married Albert Martin on May 6, 1948, in Tucumcari. She loved sewing and quilting. Survivors include her husband, Albert Martin; a son, Dicky Martin of Clovis; a daughter, Dixi Burnett of Clovis; two sisters, Bea Graf of Mancos, Colo., and Ruth Myers of Greer; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Williams was an active member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening. Survivors include her children, Vinita Ann Ray of Denver, Wendell Williams of Oklahoma City and J.C. Williams of Puyallup, Wash.; a sister, Thelma Terhune of North Judson, Ind.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Restland Memorial Park by Restland Funeral Home. Mr. Golightly was born Aug. 18, 1915. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anita; by his second wife, Dorothy; and by his son, Donald J. Golightly. Survivors include a son, Alvis Golightly, and his wife Betty, of Amarillo; a daughter, Karen Raitt, and her husband Richard, of Plano; a stepson, Kirk Castleman, and his wife Linda, of Humble; a stepdaughter, Betsy Milligan, and her husband Bill, of North Richland Hills; a sister, Gladys Brownlee of Odessa; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. James McLeod, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery by Adams Funeral Home. Mrs. Horton was born in Wellington May 11, 1928, to John Bullington and Ruby Gardner Bullington. She was a lifetime resident of Wellington. She worked as a hairdresser for 13 years, retiring in 1967. She also was a care giver for numerous people over the past 10 years. She was a charter member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Mrs. Horton was a former member of the B&PW. She was a member of Good Sam's RV Club. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She married Raymond Horton on March 9, 1946, in Wellington. Survivors include her husband; a son and his wife, Raymond D. Horton Jr. and Sue of Arvada, Colo.; a daughter and her husband, Tanya and Johnny Embry of Muleshoe; a sister and brother-in-law, Billie and J.W. Seitz of Wellington; three grandchildren, Alan Ray Horton and wife Lynette of Broomfield, Colo., Stacey Miller and husband Brian of Irving and John Embry of Lubbock; and an aunt, Ethel Littleton of Wellington.
