He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He graduated from Canadian where he was known for his football prowess. He served in the Army during World War II. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion. He had been a Dumas resident since 1960. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Margarite Bishop and husband, Paul, of Amarillo and Beatrice Doak and husband, Johnny, of Borger; two sons, Johnny Lopez of Houston and Mike Lopez and wife, Shirley, of Pampa; a sister, Lucy Williams of Austin; a brother, Pedro Lopez of Artleta, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Pugh married Mary Sue Stewart on April 6, 1951, in Sayre. He served in the Army during World War II. Mrs. Beck was born in Kingston, Okla., Feb. 17, 1923. She was married to James William Beck for 22 years. She had been a model for Neiman Marcus in Dallas and owned The Vogue Beauty Salon in Sherman for many years. She and her husband were avid square dancers and members of several square dance clubs in Sherman. They moved to Amarillo in September 1964 from Sherman. She taught at Draughons Business College for 10 years. She was a certified apartment manager and a member of National Apartment Managers Association. She was a member of Rebekah Lodge and Amarillo Senior Citizens Association. She was awarded Speaker of the Year several times with Toastmasters and Toastmistress Association in which she served for 30 years. She was a published writer. She was a resident of Independence Village for 15 years. She was a member of Vaughn-Selby class at Polk Street United Methodist Church. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Roe, Scott Roe, Brandon Fletcher and Mitchell Flanders. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammie Roe. Survivors include a son, Ronald D. Mrs. Roberts was born in Hugo, Okla. She married Surry Odell Roberts in 1935 at Clayton, N.M. They moved to Amarillo in 1940. Hartis and had been a resident of Amarillo since 1959. He served in the Navy during World War II aboard the SS Jeremiah Black, which was sunk in the Pacific Theatre. He worked at Pantex for 31 years as a forklift operator until his retirement in March 1989. He was a member of Caprock Christian Fellowship Church and San Jacinto Masonic Lodge. He married Dorothy Walters on July 4, 1941, in Itasca. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. O.R. Looper of Aubrey officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Woods was born in Coal County, Indian Territory, Nov. 18, 1916, but grew up near Melrose, N.M. He returned to Oklahoma at age 14 and lived with his uncle Dick and aunt Will Woods. He married Jewell Craft in Tishomingo, Okla., on Dec. 7, 1935. They moved to New Mexico and purchased a farm between Melrose and House and reared a family. He and his wife and daughter lived in Halfway for seven years then moved to Dalhart where he resided for 32 years. He was a member of Lincoln Baptist Church in Dalhart. Upon retirement, he and his wife moved to Amarillo. His love for farming prevailed throughout his life. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Colleen Daily of Amarillo and Betty Mowery of Atlanta; a son, Jerry D. He worked for F&H Gas Co. in Clayton from 1946 to 1966. He worked as an X-ray technician at Union County General Hospital from 1966 to 1987. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Unity Church in Dallas. Cremation was by North Texas Cremation Society in Dallas. Mr. Autry, longtime printer and writer, was born in Amarillo, June 23, 1929, to George Monroe II and Joanna Marie Autry. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1947 and attended Amarillo College and Texas Tech University in Lubbock. He was married to Gwynne, his loving wife of 21 years. He began his printing career, working for his dad at George Autry Printers in Amarillo. He took over George Autry Printers in 1960 and sold it in 1973. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Mary Louise Mascouri of Houston. Survivors include his wife; a sister, Mary Louise Autry Greer of Beaumont; two daughters, Joanne Goodwin of Pasadena, Calif., and Carolyn Jennings of Martindale; a son, George Autry of Fairfax, Va.; two stepsons, Rick Alessio and Chris Alessio; a stepdaughter, Heather Graeff; 21 beautiful grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
