Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street, with Mark Zimmerman, pastor of Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Dockins was born in Apache, Okla., and moved to Amarillo in 1964 from Wellington. He was the retired owner of A&H Overhead Door Co. He married Ann Hellaway on Oct. 1, 1965, in Amarillo. He was the backbone of the family. He was the best husband, daddy and grandpa and he will be missed dearly. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Hollee Phillips and husband, David, of Amarillo; a son, Hollis Dockins Jr. and wife, Monica, of Amarillo; three sisters, Kathleen Mote of Wellington, Katy Humprey of Wheeler and Casie Hixon of Waco; three brothers, Leon Dockins of Mobeetie, Elray Dockins of Washburn and Salty Dockins of Sayre; and four grandchildren, Andy Phillips, Brock Dockins, Brook Dockins and Brett Dockins, all of Amarillo. He married Helen Woods on Aug. 22, 1948, and she passed away on April 1, 1987. He served in the Army during World War II.He was awarded a purple heart, the good conduct medal, expert rifleman, and the European, African and Middle Eastern service medals. He fought in Central Europe and the Rhineland. He married Martha Mae Grady in Amarillo on Oct. 11, 1987. He was a longtime employee of Southwestern Public Service. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a member of the Harmony Sunday school class. He served as the church treasurer for 30 years. He was a member of the American Business Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Amarillo Senior Citizens Association, the Knife and Fork Club, the Pioneer Promenaders Square Dance Club and served as past president of Saints and Spinners Square Dance Club. He played golf and attended all the home games of the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by a son, R. Vance Summers, in March 1992. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Vicki Summers of Italy; a son, David London and wife, Rhonda, of Amarillo; three granddaughters, Natalie Jackson, Holly Ann London and Lorra Leigh London; and a grandson, Nevin Jackson. Mr. Miller was the eighth of nine children born to Clara and William F. Miller in Happy on Nov. 9, 1922. After graduation from Happy High School in 1940, he attended Texas Tech in Lubbock. At the beginning of World War II he joined the Air Corps and was assigned to photography school in Denver at Lowrey Field. He served overseas with the 33rd photo recon squadron in Germany, France, England and Belgium. He was honorably discharged in 1945 and returned to Texas Tech. He was employed in 1948 by the Amarillo Globe-News as a layout artist in the advertising department. He and Marceille Farmer, also employed in the Globe-News art department, were married in 1950 by a family friend, Homer Akers, Presbyterian minister in Portales, N.M. He was the father of two daughters. He wrote, "I came into this world naked, red and screaming and would like to leave with little fanfare, so there will be no funeral or memorial services by my request. But at a later date, we will be taken to a spot we love in Alberta, Canada, Valley of Ten Peaks, and there the granite peaks will be my tombstone." A 1952 graduate of Amarillo High School, he earned a bachelors of music from Texas Tech in 1959 and followed with a master's of music education in 1962. Service to his country was in the Army. He will be remembered by the thousands of people whose lives he touched in deed and story. A great friend and family man, he will be missed as much for his kindness as for his wisdom and insight. A long and eventful life included a tour in the Army, a wonderful career as a successful choral director at Tascosa High School in Amarillo, many years as a fine arts director in Midland and Dallas and a long association with the Texas Music Educators Association as its executive director. In each job he was able to bring many diverse people together and serve as a leader for various organizations. He also served as a conductor of various SPEBQSA choruses, president of the Texas Music Educators Association, Kiwanis Club president, Texas Society of Association Executives chairman and chairman of the 36th Division Museum Foundation in Austin. An advocate for the fine arts, his efforts were instrumental in preserving them within the curriculum of the schools throughout the United States. He was supported and guided by his loving wife, Annita. He will also be remembered by the many people who came to know and trust him in his life. Honors awarded to Mr. Cormack include Freedoms Foundation, Amarillo Citizens Award, Kiwanian of the Year, National Honorary Member of Phi Beta Mu, the National Women's Band Directors Association, Amarillo Hall of Fame, Gene Hemmle Award-Texas Tech University, National Man of the Year-Phi Mu Alpha, and Distinguished Alumni of the School of Music-Texas Tech University. Bruce Cotton, of Levelland, and the Rev. George Malis, of Clovis, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in Sudan Cemetery of Sudan by Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe. Mr. Davis was a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church in Muleshoe, where he had lived since 1960. He served in the Air Force. Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo; a son, Jed Davis of Claude; a daughter, Shelley Kay Davis of Tulsa, Okla.; and two grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Central United Methodist Church with Jeff Taylor, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Dalhart by Hass Funeral Home of Dalhart. Mrs. Foltz was born Jan. 23, 1898, in Ford County, Kan., to Thomas and Mary E. (McClary) Weston. She moved to Dalhart in 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter; her parents; three brothers; three sisters; and a great-grandson. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W.O. (Marie) Culbertson of Las Vegas, N.M., and Mrs. Tommy (Billie Jean) Ethridge of Clayton, N.M.; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Baber was born Oct. 24, 1911, in Crawford County, Kan. He retired as safety superintendent at the Plains Plant for Phillips Petroleum Co. Survivors include his wife, Doris; four daughters, Kathleen Moses of Los Fresnos, Janice Larry of McKinney, Lea Ellen Minton of Borger and Lorie Bradshaw of Allen; 18 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Adrian United Methodist Church with the Rev. Steve Cox, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Vega by Vega Funeral Home. Mrs. Frost was born in Memphis and had lived in Forest Hill for 35 years. She had been in commercial property management. She was a Baptist. Survivors include a son, Mark Frost of Arlington; a sister, Laneitta Loveless of Adrian; a grandson, Adam Frost of Arlington; a niece, Kim Wells of Arlington; a nephew, Craig Loveless of Fort Worth; and a longtime friend and fiance, Bill Peterson of Burleson. Mrs. Kincaid was born Aug. 16, 1927, in Pella, Iowa, to Charles Klein and Rena Marie Juline Klein. She graduated from Pella High School and Central College in Pella. She moved to Amarillo in 1963 from Dallas. She participated for many years in Meals on Wheels, was active at YWCA and served as a HOSTS program mentor. She was a member of PEO Sisterhood Chapter CV since 1970 and was a past member of Ladies Golf Association at Amarillo Country Club. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church where she was active in Sarah Perkins Circle and a co-founder of AWE, Adults with Experience Group. Survivors include three sons, Steve Kincaid of Amarillo, Bob Kincaid of Houston and Bill Kincaid of Thornton, Colo.; two daughters, Jan Stein of Houston and Joan Robison of Amarillo; nine grandchildren, Scott Kincaid of Amarillo, Jennifer Stein, Raelee Stein, Christopher Kincaid and Courtney Kincaid, all of Houston, Clifford Kincaid, Claire Kincaid and Cate Kincaid, all of Thornton and Keith Kincaid of Springfield, Mo.; a stepgranddaughter, Penni Nelson of Dallas; two sisters, Carol Kooyman and husband, Wallace A., of Moline, Ill., and Lenora Jane "Pink" Andrews of Pella; an aunt; and three nieces.
