Memorial services will be held at a later date in St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Chicago, Ill. Cremation and local arrangements are by Adams Funeral Home of Wellington. Mrs. Becci was born May 1, 1901, in Senigallia, Italy. She immigrated from Italy to Chicago in 1920 and became a U.S. citizen in 1928. She was a longtime resident of Chicago before moving to Memphis in the early 1980s. She was a homemaker. She married Attilio Becci in 1919 in Senigallia. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Chicago. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1968; four brothers and six sisters. Survivors include a son, George Becci and wife, Alicia, of Memphis; two sisters, Nellie Vernelli and Adeline Vernelli, both of Senigallia; a niece, Mary Pope of Boca Raton, Fla.; three nephews, Richard Pope of Boca Raton and Ronald Becci and Gerald Pope, both of Chicago; and two grandchildren. Mrs. Moon was born Nov. 26, 1904, in Bosque County, the daughter of the late James and Mamie (Sharpe) Standifer. She and Jimmy Moon were married March 31, 1967, in Wichita Falls. Survivors include a stepson, W.E. "Chub" Moon of Chickasha, Okla.; a stepdaughter, Joyce Zacharias of Lawton, Okla.; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1936 and Fleming's Business College in 1938. He served with the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was the manager of Glazer Wholesale Drug Co. and had worked for the company for 37 years before his retirement in 1984. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine, in 1992. He belonged to and retired from the Pipefitters Union Local 196 and had 50 years of service with the organization. At a young age, he moved to the Clarendon area where he lived until he went to C.C.C. Camp in Perryton. He joined the Air Force and served in World War II. He later served his country in the Middle East and also worked in the Pentagon. He continued his career in the military until his retirement. Upon retirement, he moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., where he worked for many years for the Civil Service. In 2001 he moved to Amarillo. He loved to fish, garden and play bridge. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Scott Adams officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home of Guymon. Mr. Valdez recently celebrated his sixth anniversary as a kidney transplant recipient. He was employed with Guymon Public Schools as a parent coordinator with Project Ready at Academy Elementary. Mrs. Trigg graduated from Forrest Avenue High School and earned a practical nursing degree from the Texas School of Practical Nursing. She worked for Texas Instruments for 20 years and retired in 1982. She was a member of Parnassus Book Review Club and was an active member of Highland Oaks Church of Christ. She was a longtime member of the Helping Hearts Ministry of Highland Oaks Church of Christ where she volunteered as the director for many years. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devoted friend to many. She lived her entire life in the Dallas metroplex. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rhea Dan Trigg in 1978; her parents, W.A. and Frankie Catlett; twin sister, Maudine Haney; and sister, Annette Greer. Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Daniel and husband, Bill, of Amarillo and Tammye Brooks and husband, John, of Lewisville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Amarillo Globe-News, Feb. 11, 2002 Dyann Duvall Cleland TROPHY CLUB - Dyann Duvall Cleland, 57, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2002. Services will be at noon Wednesday in Fellowship United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Medlin Cemetery of Trophy Club by Martin Thompson Funeral Home of Grapevine. Mrs. Cleland died in Fort Worth after a courageous two-year battle with colon cancer. She was born Oct. 4, 1944, in Hollis, Okla., to M.G. and Dorothy Duvall. She moved to Hereford in 1952 and graduated from Hereford High School in 1962. She attended North Texas State University and later was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines based in Atlanta. She lived in Amarillo in the 1970s and moved to Trophy Club in 1981. She was an office manager for her family's business for several years and a golfer at Trophy Club Country Club. Survivors include her husband, Robert; a son, Robbie Cleland of Trophy Club; her parents of Amarillo; two brothers, Gene Duvall of Amarillo and Milner Duvall of Aledo; and a legion of friends. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be to Community Hospice of North Texas.
