He married Jeanetta Sue "Susie" Duncan on June 18, 1960, in Clayton. They farmed and ranched in the Felt area, where he also sold Pioneer Seed for 25 years. He worked for Cimarron County for eight years, retiring in 1999. He had been a member of Gideons International for 25 years. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jana Fowler of Boise City; two sons, Mark Funk of Clayton and Jeff Funk of Guymon; three sisters, Clara Vogt and Betty Flaming, both of Tulsa, and Rose Wiens of Mountain Lake, Minn.; four brothers, Harry Funk of Newton, Kan., K.R. Mrs. Kimbley worked as a nurse's aide for Worley Hospital for 15 years, retiring in 1974. She moved to Bartlesville, Okla., for a time, returning to Pampa in 1990. Mrs. Oliver was born Feb. 14, 1917, and moved to Lazbuddie in 1925. She married Frank L. Oliver on Oct. 28, 1937. She lived in Muleshoe from 1986 until April 2001 when she moved to Prairie Acres in Friona. She was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Muleshoe. She was preceded in death by her husband in August 1976. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Moore of Clovis, N.M.; two sons, Jimmy Oliver of Tucson, Ariz., and Michael Oliver of Clovis; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Rucker was born March 29, 1917, in East Texas, the son of Everett and Maude Rucker. He married Jane Williams on Dec. 24, 1936, in Clovis, N.M., and they have lived in Hereford for more than 25 years. He was a veteran, having served honorably in the Navy during World War II. He was a self-employed trucker in the farming industry and a member of Church of God in Hereford. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Jane; and several nephews. The family suggests memorials be to Hereford Senior Citizens. Amarillo Globe-News, Feb. 13, 2002 Juanita "Cissy" Taylor TULIA - Juanita "Cissy" Taylor, 39, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, in Amarillo. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Davenport, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Edgin Cemetery, southwest of Quitaque by Wallace Funeral Home. Mrs. Taylor was born May 25, 1962, in Albuquerque, N.M. She moved to Floydada, attended schools there and then moved to Turkey. After her marriage they lived on the Taylor Ranch southwest of Quitaque, and in 1992 they moved to Tulia. She became a Christian at age 31. She was an active member of First Baptist Church, where she helped regularly with GA's, Mother's Day Out, vacation Bible school, the library and city church. For several years she conducted weekly Bible study in the home of her dear friend, Edith Harral of Tulia. Her outright joy of living, love of her family and devotion to her savior were apparent to everyone who knew her for even a few minutes. Pallbearers include Jason Tripp, Tom Garrison, David Barnes and David Cabe. She was preceded in death by her dear friend, Edith on Jan. 25, 2002, at age 97; and her father in February 2000. Survivors include her husband, Glen; two daughters, Misty Taylor of Lubbock and Angela Taylor of Amarillo; two brothers, Ricky Nicholas of Livingston, Tenn., and Terry Toothman of Mount Pleasant; her mother, Juanita Toothman of Minden, La.; and three grandsons, Dale, Darron and Glen, all of Amarillo. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a 50-year member of Pampa Masonic Lodge No. 966 AF&AM and a member of Lubbock Scottish Rite Consistory. He was preceded in death by his wife on Oct. 21, 2000; and two sons, Harold Eugene Thornhill and DeArlen L. Thornhill. He was a retired judge in Amarillo and served as patrolman, captain, assistant chief of police and chief of police in Hereford, Borger, Guymon, Okla., and Amarillo. He served in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a life member of VFW Post No. 1820 in Temple and was a Mason. He was a member of Church of Christ. He lived in Amarillo for 20 years before moving to Little River 16 years ago. Survivors include his wife; a son, James L. Bartlett of Amarillo; three daughters, Rosemary Jane Cordova of Tularosa, N.M., Diane Kohl of Green Bay, Wis., and Pamela S.
