Georgia St. Mr. Allison attended high school in Borger and was a 1977 graduate of West Texas State University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. In 1989 he was named president and chief executive officer of Continental Panhandle Lines. In 1995, he was named secretary-treasurer of Texas Bus Association. He was elected to the board of directors of the American Bus Association for 1997-1998. In 1999 he was re-elected for a three-year term as a member-at-large of the board of directors of Trailways Transportation Systems. He was active in United Way, was a member of Downtown Kiwanis Club, a past president of Amarillo Convention and Visitor Council and past chairman of the Tri-State Fair board of directors. Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Lauren and Andrea, both of Amarillo; his parents, Martha Allison of Borger and Thomas Allison of Amarillo; and a sister, Julie Allison of Amarillo. He graduated in 1942 from Vici High School in Oklahoma with honors in sports. He was a decorated soldier in the Army during World War II, serving in the European Theater and receiving two purple hearts. He married Donna Gayle Harris on Nov. 1, 1947, in Amarillo. She preceded him in death in 1979 after 31 years of marriage. He married Glenda Christian Hill on Nov. 21, 1981, in Hill Chapel of Canyon. He was supervisor of the Crowe-Gulde Block Plant for many years. He retired from the postal service in 1989. He was a strong man with definite beliefs and a great love for his family. He helped people all his life and working with his hands brought him great joy. His family will miss his strength and love. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha Fassauer. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Sewell was born May 21, 1928, in Blanchard, Okla. He retired in 1966 from the Air Force while stationed at the Amarillo Air Force Base. During his military career, he served in various assignments, including the Korean War. While serving his country, he received numerous commendations and awards. He moved to Amarillo in 1964. On Nov. 13, 1949, he married Lila Irene Allen in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation, from which he received recognition. He was a Baptist. During the late '70s and early '80s, he was head of security at St. Anthony's Hospital on Polk Street. He was also head of Allstate Security. He was very active in veteran's affairs and assisted many veterans in obtaining benefits. In addition, he served as a volunteer at St. Anthony's Hospital. He was preceded in death by two sons, Lonnie Sewell and Michael Sewell; and a grandson, Christopher Sewell. She moved to Amarillo in 1950 where she raised her family and founded Folsom Realty. She married Arthur Folsom on Oct. 31, 1953, in Amarillo. She had worked for Ruth Colvin Realty for years before she had her own company, Folsom Realty. She was a member of MLS. She was also a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Third Ward. We will forever cherish the wonderful and blessed person she was, and her love will live on through everyone she touched. She then worked at Maywood snack bar in the 1960s until they put in vending machines. She moved to Dallas in 1977 and worked for the Department of Human Services until her retirement in 1991. She was preceded in death by her father in 1963; her mother in January 1989; and a brother, William, in March 1996. She was a Quitaque resident from 1928 to 1951. She was a church pianist in Quitaque and Sunray for 62 years. She taught children's Sunday school at Sunray Baptist Church for many years. She taught piano and organ to many young musicians and trained many to become church accompanists. She was instrumental in starting Sunray Band and was accompanist for band soloists for many years. She was chairman of the board of directors for Sun Bank for 19 years. She was a member of Sunray Baptist Church. She married C.E. Bedwell in June 11, 1931, in Cooper. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 18, 1983; four brothers; a sister; and a granddaughter. Burial will be in Alanreed Cemetery by Bailey/Ware Funeral Home of McLean. Mr. Fish was born to Joseph Daniel and Beulah Lee Fish on Nov. 6, 1917, in the community of Goldston, north of Howardwick. He married Jeanette LaTreece Fort on Dec. 12, 1949, in Groom. He was a farmer, cattle rancher, business owner and property manager in Texas. After moving to California, he delivered pharmaceutical supplies for McKesson-Robbins in Los Angeles. He was a talented gospel singer and for many years he served as the song leader for Lefors Church of Christ, McLean Church of Christ and Van Nuys Church of Christ in Los Angeles. He belonged to several gospel quartets that gave concerts around the Panhandle. He was also an elder in the Van Nuys and McLean Churches of Christ. He was a proud graduate of Alanreed High School in 1936. A gifted athlete, he played on several award-winning football, baseball and basketball teams. He was also a strong supporter of the annual Alanreed Homecoming. Arrangements are by Sparkman-Dickey Funeral Home of Dallas. Mrs. Wilkerson had been a resident of Pampa for more than four decades. She was born Sept. 18, 1917, in Dalhart and attended the Clarendon schools from kindergarten through Clarendon College. She married her high school sweetheart, R.D."Jimmy" Wilkerson on Nov. 4, 1939. She and her husband owned and operated Builder's Plumbing Supply and had a long history of civic and community involvement in Pampa. Her involvement included president of the Altrusa Club, served on the administrative board of First United Methodist Church, president of the Twentieth Century Culture Club and was active in the Chamber of Commerce. She was an avid bridge player and belonged to numerous local bridge groups. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, dancing and entertaining their friends. Survivors include a daughter, Jo Clair Via of Plano; a son, Dick Wilkerson of Red River, N.M.; four grandchildren, Richard Wilkerson of Tucson, Ariz., Mandie Wilkerson of Lubbock and Amanda Jenkins and Jessica Via, both of Plano. The family will receive friends in Corey Court following the memorial service. The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, memorials be to First United Methodist Church parlor restoration fund; or to Plano Rotary Club Foundation. Mrs. Howard married Worth Howard on Jan. 22, 1933. She was a member of the Eastern Star in Memphis and the First United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker. Mr. Evans was the son of Elton Tracy and Verna (Bennie) Vann Evans. He was a lawyer.
