He owned and operated Keith Motor Service for six years. He was elected constable of Potter County for two terms. He was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church, Palo Duro Masonic Lodge, a 32nd Degree Mason and Lubbock Khiva Shrine. He was married to Thelma Saunders for 55 years. He then married Molly Griffitts. He was preceded in death by his first wife in 1997; and his second wife in 2002. Burial will be in Russell Cemetery by Greer Funeral Home of Mangum, Okla. Mrs. Brundige was born Jan. 9, 1933, to Hal and Nora Atwood in rural Harmon County, Okla. She grew up in the Russell and Centralvue communities. She was a graduate of Centralvue High School and attended Cameron and Oklahoma State University. She married Raymond Brundige of Mangum on April 17, 1953, at the Baptist church in Russell. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage. Their first great-grandson is expected in June. In 1968 they moved to Amarillo where she worked as a secretary at Southlawn Elementary School. She was a member of Texas Educational Secretaries Association and Paramount Baptist Church in Amarillo. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Jean Miller. Arrangements are by Grants Mortuary. Mrs. Raburn was born April 17, 1926, in Indianapolis, to Orville Johnson and Peggy Strange Johnson. She married Dr. Ralph F. Raburn on May 18, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas. They moved to Grants in 1955. She is remembered for her love of singing and her contribution to the community as a vocalist. She was a homemaker and a member of PEO Sisterhood. Pallbearers include Don Thomasson, Joshua Thomasson, Ron Mims, Perry Fisher, Ben Childers and Dr. Jeff Mattila.
