Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Southwest Baptist Church with the Rev. Jody Meason, minister of Cornerstone Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano East Cemetery by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Mr. Brecht was born in Amarillo. He attended Lawndale Elementary School and Bowie Middle School. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1999. He was a student at West Texas A&M University and attended Amarillo College. He was studying for a criminal justice degree and had aspirations of becoming a U.S. Marshal. He had been employed by Pameco Corp. for more than a year. He loved to play soccer, baseball and softball. He will be missed greatly by his many friends and loved ones. Survivors include his mother, Kathy Brecht of Amarillo; his father and stepmother, Don and Cindy Brecht of Lubbock; a sister, Blakni Riley and husband, Johnathan, of Amarillo; two brothers, Matthew Crawford and wife, Stephanie, of Lubbock and Nathan Crawford of Denton; his grandparents, Lois and Herman Ledbetter and Florence Simonton, all of Pampa, and Doris Garner of Malvern, Ark.; two uncles, Ronnie Ledbetter and family, and Donnie Ledbetter and family, all of Pampa; numerous cousins; and many wonderful friends. Amarillo Globe-News, March 15, 2002 Debbie Tidwell Debbie Tidwell, 43, of Amarillo died Thursday, March 14, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Schooler Funeral Home Brentwood Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Randy Srader of Southwest Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Ms. Tidwell was born in Roswell, N.M., June 16, 1958. She graduated from Canyon High School in 1976. She worked as a chiropractic assistant and a secretarial computer supervisor. She worked in bookkeeping for Plains Livestock Transportation, XIT Communications in Dalhart and Cellular One Communications. She was a loving mother, daughter and sister who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her father, Colby L. Tidwell, on May 17, 1991. Survivors include a son, Justin E. Keasler of Amarillo; her mother, Elsie Tidwell of Amarillo; a sister, Dora Evans and husband, Wayne, of Amarillo; two brothers, Samuel Tidwell and wife, Laura, and Marshall Tidwell and wife, Rebecca, all of Amarillo; five nieces; and a nephew. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Weidner was born and raised in Ames, Okla. He moved to Adrian as a young man. He married Mozelle Allison in 1938. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 899 in Vega and of the Masonic Lodge in Canyon No. 730. He was the past grand master of both lodges. He was self employed. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Lanie Sewell of Midland and Madeline Brock of Apple Springs; a son, Carroll Weidner of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Lezlie Frazier, Bobby Sewell, Cynthia Markey, Christy Mason, Michele Mason and Melody Weidner; four great-grandsons, Clint Frazier, Cody Frazier, Justin Sewell and Zayne Sloss; and a great-great-grandson, Cody Frazier. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pentecostal Church of God in Christ with Superintendent E.B. Demerson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery in Childress by Morris-Bates Mortuary of Fort Worth. Mrs. Anderson was born in Overton on Aug. 22, 1919. She attended public schools in Arp and graduated from Emmett Scott High School in Tyler. She received her bachelor's degree in education from Texas College in Tyler. She taught school more than 40 years in Childress, Odessa and Amarillo. She was recognized by Amarillo Independent School District as Teacher of the Year. She was a member of Pentecostal Church of God in Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Tommie Anderson, in 2000. Survivors include four brothers, Lorenzo Wiley Sr. and Hilrige Wiley, both of Fort Worth, S.L. Wiley of Houston and George Wiley of Santa Monica, Calif. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Stiles, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Kelton Cemetery in Kelton by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mr. Crawford was born April 20, 1914, in Lipscomb County, to George and Inda Collins Crawford. He married Helen Joslyn in Canadian on Oct. 23, 1948. He moved to Allison from Glazier in 1953 where he was a farmer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Allison and a volunteer at Wheeler Care Center. Survivors include his wife; two sons, George Crawford of Allison and Johnny Crawford of Briscoe; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Tom Stribling, pastor of Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church of Dumas, officiating. Burial will be in Miami Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa. Mrs. Corse was born Dec. 14, 1908, in Miami. She was the daughter of pioneer couple Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Gill. She married Kenneth Corse on July 17, 1927, in Canadian. She was a member and deaconess of First Christian Church of Miami. She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 26, 1984; and a son, Wallace Corse, in 1972. Survivors include two sons, Douglas Corse of Mobeetie and Earl Corse and wife, Carolyn, of Dumas; a brother, Cecil Gill of Miami; a sister, Goldie Roberts of Pampa; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Golden traveled in ministry in Texas, Kansas, New Mexico and Colorado. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Her husband ministered at Perryton Church of Christ from 1953 to 1960. She was preceded in death by her parents, G.W. and Mary Sallee; her husband, Arthur L. Golden, in 1972; a son, William L. Golden, in 1983; and a daughter, Joan Paul, in 1992. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Barbara Hearn of Amarillo; two grandsons; five granddaughters; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Memorial services were at 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Andrew United Methodist Church with the Rev. Weldon Rives and the Rev. John Dorn, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Love was a native of Fannin County and a Borger resident since 1940. She was a charter member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church and a life member of Golden Grandmothers. She attended Charles of the Ritz School of Cosmetics in New York City and was an Avon representative for 20 years. She was the first president of the service guild at First United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. She worked with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts for several years and was a Gray Lady at the hospital. She was preceded in death by her first husband Walter Pirtle in 1971; a second husband Foy Love in 1992; and a son, John M. Pirtle in 1957. Survivors include three sons, Jack Pirtle of Borger, Charles Pirtle of Houston and Richard Pirtle of Canyon; a daughter, Virginia Casey of Sherman; a daughter-in-law, Jean Pirtle of Whittier, Calif.; two stepdaughters, Ann Tamoglie of Memphis, Tenn., and Jean Schwartz of Dallas; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, March 15, 2002 Frank L. Anderson LANCASTER, Calif. - Frank L. Anderson, 75, died Monday, March 11, 2002. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Lancaster Elks Lodge. Arrangements are by Halley-Olsen-Murphy Memorial Chapel. Mr. Anderson was born June 2, 1926, in Gypsum, Kan. An Antelope Valley resident since 1956, he retired as owner of Anderson Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Union No. 108 for 50 years. As a 35-year member of Lancaster Elks No. 1625, he served as exalted ruler for the year 1996 to 1997. He was a member of Sherri Chefs and was a World War II veteran of the Navy. His hobbies were horses and livestock. He was married for 55 years to Belle. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dave Anderson and wife, Carla, of Amarillo, Texas, and Mike Anderson and wife, Carol, of Ruidoso, N.M.; three grandchildren, April, Michael and Kody; a sister, Louise Janzen of Marion, Kan.; two sisters-in-law, Myrtle Tipton of Texas and Jo Ray of Washington; a brother-in-law, Jim Moore of Texas; and many friends.
