Alexander was born Monday, April 15, 2002, in Amarillo. Survivors include his father of Dallas; his mother of Childress; his grandmother, Teresa Pereyra of Childress; and his grandfather, Foritino Pereyra of Childress. She was employed by Hereford Independent School District before her retirement. Arrangements are by Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Quitaque. Mr. Davis was born Oct. 4, 1940, in Wellington. He taught at Valley Schools, Estelline, Hereford, Canyon, Memphis and Matador. Survivors include a daughter, Jenifer Pigg of Quitaque; a son, Steve Davis of Perryton; a brother, Lindley R. Davis of Burnet; his mother, Cozette Davis of Burnet; and three grandsons. Mr. Davis was born in Knowles, Okla., in 1917. He and his wife, Jettie, were married in 1962. He lived in Spearman for 80 years, moving from Ponca City, Okla. He was a member of First Christian Church. He owned and operated Bill's Service Station for many years until his retirement in 1977. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1999. Survivors include two daughters, Mickey Gribble of Centralia, Wash., and Ann Temple of Spearman; a son, Ned Davis of Thornton, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Bell St. Mrs. Hastings was born in Leedey, Okla., to Leslie and Nora Ruthart. She was married in 1943 to Van Howard. She later married Wesley Hastings in Montrose, Colo. She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1987; her parents; and five brothers. Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Howard of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Pauline Lindley of Fritch; three brothers, Gordon Ruthardt of White Deer, and Crawford Ruthart and Arlen Ruthart, both of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Straight was born Feb. 9, 1921, in Medford, Mass. He served during World War II in the Navy. He married Doris Gosselin on May 29, 1943, in Springfield, Mass., and they were married for 59 years. His lifetime career as a printer took him and his family to Albuquerque, N.M., and later to Lubbock. He formed his own printing business, STR8s Fotographix, staying in Lubbock until his retirement. He was a member of Agape United Methodist Church in Lubbock. He had been a resident of Amarillo for the last 14 months. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Julie Richardson of Amarillo; three sons, David of Newcastle, Maine, Steve of Durango, Colo., and Bill of Stockton, Calif.; a son-in-law, James Bosworth of Center Strafford, N.H.; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several relatives residing in Canada. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Howell Memorial Park Cemetery in West Plains, Mo., by Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home. Mrs. Applegate was born Aug. 12, 1904, in Norborne, Mo. While living in Guymon, she worked for Memorial Hospital as a cook. Survivors include her children, Mary Rhoads of Guymon, Alberta Leisure of Glenwood, Iowa, and Wayne Applegate of Fallon, Nev.; and numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren. Griggs TUCSON, Ariz. - Paul Y. Griggs, 86, died Saturday, April 13, 2002. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Dumas Cemetery at Dumas, Texas, with the Rev. Mark Wallis, pastor of Life Tabernacle Church in Dumas, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas. Mr. Griggs was born Nov. 18, 1915, in Snyder, Texas. He married Jewel Muir on July 26, 1959, in Lordsburg, N.M. He had been a Tucson resident since 1947. He was a brick mason contractor. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Donald Griggs of Phoenix, and Eddie Griggs and Denis Griggs, both of Tucson; a daughter, Altha Baker of Altus, Okla.; three sisters, Mertie Taylor of Dumas, Juanita Angle of Woodward, Okla., and Louva Kersey of Amarillo, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Mission Park Funeral Home North in San Antonio. Burial was in Boerne City Cemetery. Mrs. Nall was born Feb. 22, 1903, in Indian Territory, Carter County, Okla. She married S.E. "Jack" Nall on April 28, 1923, and they were married for 72 years. Survivors include two daughters, Theda Hardwick of Fair Oaks Ranch and Donna Moore of Amarillo; four grandchildren, William Hardwick III, Don Hardwick, Dana Moore Chiodo, and David C. Moore of Amarillo; six great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Jimenez was born Feb. 8, 1933, in Tucumcari. He had worked in construction and was a member of Local Union No. 16. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Gonzales of Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Betty Martinez of Amarillo; two brothers, Dave J. Jimenez of Albuquerque and Joe J.
