Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery of Pampa with the Rev. Chad Chadwick, pastor of Fairlanes Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Brown Funeral Directors. Mrs. Holder was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church. Survivors include a sister, Verley Foster of Maude; and a grandson. Amarillo Globe-News, April 22, 2002 Glenn B. Cotney - Glenn B. Cotney, 75, died Thursday, April 18, 2002. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Stratford Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Sweeten, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Cotney was born June 23, 1926, in House, N.M. He was a Stratford resident since 1967. He was a farmer and retired from Stratford Feed Yard. He married Eva Lee Markham on Sept. 19, 1970, in Boise City, Okla. He was a veteran of the Army. Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Gary Dallas of Dallas; two brothers, Darrell Cotney of Stratford and James Douglas Cotney of Detroit; and two sisters, Anna Mae Norris of Wichita, Kan., and Nadean Shive of Colorado Springs, Colo. The family will be at 311 N. Maple. Amarillo Globe-News, April 22, 2002 Lucy Mary Leinen NAZARETH - Lucy Mary Leinen, 86, died Saturday, April 20, 2002. Rosary will be at 8 p.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Dennis Boylan, pastor, as celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mrs. Leinen was born July 4, 1915, in Nazareth. She married Frank John Leinen Jr. on Aug. 25, 1952, in Nazareth. She grew up in Nazareth and went to work for Nazareth Gin & Grain in 1952. She then went to work for Dimmitt Agri. in 1962 where she remained until retiring in 1985. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth. She was active in the Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers and Senior Citizens. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Acker of Nazareth and Arlene Steffens of Slaton; two sons, Jim Leinen of Upland, Calif., and Jerry Leinen of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and six step-great-great-grandchildren. The body will be available for viewing at the funeral home until this afternoon. Reception of the body will be at 5 p.m. today in the Holy Family CCD building. The family suggests memorials be to Cantebury Villa Activity Fund or Nazareth Meals on Wheels. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Zybach Cemetery of Allison with Joe G. Jernigan, pastor of Calvary Christian Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Moore farmed in the Dalhart area for many years. He served in the Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Frances; his mother, Jessie Moore of Perryton; a brother, John Moore of Wheeler; and a sister, Mildred Schroeder of Corpus Christi. The family suggests memorials be to Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Shamrock. Hughes St. Mr. Durr-Taylor was born in Lima, Ohio. He attended Bonham Junior High and Amarillo High School. Survivors include a sister, Alice Green of Amarillo. Survivors include his wife, Gloria; two stepchildren, Karen Haltom of Cary, N.C., and Gary Florence of Lubbock; and four stepgrandchildren.
