Mass will be at 10 a.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. Dennis Boylan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mrs. Leinen was born July 4, 1915, in Nazareth. She married Frank John Leinen Jr. on June 24, 1936, in Nazareth. She grew up in Nazareth and went to work for Nazareth Gin & Grain in 1952. She then went to work for Dimmitt Agriculture in 1962 where she remained until retiring in 1985. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth. She was active in the Catholic Daughters, Christian Mothers and Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 25, 1952. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Acker of Nazareth and Arlene Steffens of Slaton; two sons, Jim Leinen of Upland, Calif., and Jerry Leinen of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and six step-great-great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, April 23, 2002 Ethel Mae Johnson BOVINA - Ethel Mae Johnson, 94, died Sunday, April 21, 2002, in Clovis, N.M. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Bovina Church of Christ with Mike Prather, minister, and David Bennett of Portales, N.M., officiating. Burial will be in Bovina Cemetery by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Johnson had lived in Bovina since 1930, moving from Oklahoma. She was a member of Bovina Church of Christ. She was a 1926 graduate of Clinton High School in Clinton, Okla. She taught Sunday school at Bovina Church of Christ for more than 50 years. She was a member of Bovina Senior Citizens and a charter member of Oklahoma Lane Home Demonstration Club. She received the Heritage Award from Bovina Chamber of Commerce in 1999. She married Levi Johnson on Dec. 23, 1929, in Arapaho, Okla. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 30, 1985. Survivors include a son, Billy Johnson of Farwell; a daughter, Betty Lowrie of Midwest City, Okla.; a brother, Ralph Ashby of Edmond, Okla.; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Fausset was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Bishop, Okla. He co-owned and operated a service station in Booker. Memorial services will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Rector Funeral Home Chapel, 2800 S. Osage St., with the Rev. Robert Field, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Mrs. Wheeler was born in Apache, Okla. She attended Oklahoma State University and was a supply clerk before retirement. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and a past president for the state of Texas. She had lived in Amarillo for 18 years before moving to Casa Grande in March. She enjoyed science fiction and action movies, reading, gardening, cooking and painting. She was a Methodist. She married Tom Wheeler in 1951. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980; and a daughter, Sally Ann McKinney in 1999. Survivors include three sons, Walter Perry Freeman of Casa Grande, Thomas C. Wheeler of College Station and Jack Wheeler of Amarillo; a brother, Perry Freeman of Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was a roughneck working in the oil industry. He was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. Butler on Feb. 14, 1958, in Brawley, Calif. She was a resident of Amarillo for 30 years prior to moving to Edwards, Mo., in 1992. She did volunteer work in the nursing field while in Missouri. She worked as a bank teller prior to retiring. She was Catholic. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988. Survivors include a son, Tom Butler of Allen; and three sisters, Donna Allen of Edwards, Garda Wessels of San Diego, Calif., and Imogene Osborne of Grants Pass, Ore. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home with Allen Myer, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Ringlein was born Nov. 2, 1968, in Grand Island. He was employed as a counselor at Cal Farley's Boys Ranch in Amarillo. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Leonard Hernoud of Lincoln; his father, Donald Ringlein of Dothan, Ala.; his grandmother, Deloris Henman of Grand Island; a brother, Kevin Ringlein of Lincoln; two stepsisters, Star Fitzgerald of Omaha and Melanie Hernoud of Erie, Colo.; and a stepbrother, Lenny Hernoud of Lincoln. The family suggests memorials be for family expenses. Amarillo Globe-News, April 23, 2002 Ty Wayne Rucker KINGSLAND - Ty Wayne Rucker, 39, died Friday, April 19, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Putnam Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Bluffton Cemetery at Bluffton. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Tulia. Mr. Rucker was born Feb. 7, 1963, in Tulia, to Russell Rucker and Marie Rucker. He participated in many high school sports and as a young man enjoyed motorcycles. He loved to fish and was an avid golfer. He appreciated music performed by Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix and Johnny Rivers. Most importantly, he was a proud father of two daughters and numerous pet Labradors. He graduated from Western Texas College with a degree in agronomy. He married Joyce Lorene Barnes on March 16, 1991, in Fort Worth. His career was in golf course maintenance and design. Throughout his career, he was superintendent of Fort Stockton Country Club, assistant superintendent at Brentwood Country Club in San Angelo, superintendent at Georgetown Country Club, Lake Country Club in Fort Worth, Slickrock Golf Course in Horseshoe Bay and co-owner of Packsaddle Country Club in Kingsland since 1993. He was part of the construction of Eagle Point in Mount Bellview and the grow-in and opening of Lake Cliff on Lake Travis. Pallbearers include, Rick Ritter, Lance Ritter, Roger Carruth, Graham Carruth, Mike Metcalf, Trent Morris, Joe Halloway and John David Wilks. Honorary pallbearers include his "hombres" Juan Maldonada, Trini Maldonada, Gregorio Maldonada, Javier Ramirez, Antonio Penalosa and Jimmy Jackson.
