Mr. Wagner was born June 29, 1949, in San Antonio. He graduated from LaPryer High School in 1967. He moved to Hereford in December 1970 and started farming. He married Karen Hobbs on June 2, 1973, in Vega. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne; and his father, Joe. Eldon Pritchard officiating. Burial will be in Newberry Cemetery in Milsap. Mr. Himes was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Mineral Wells, to Eugene D. Himes and Alpha Beulah Redford. He married Meda Earline Newberry in 1930 at Mineral Wells. He graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1929 and attended every 50- year reunion that the high school annually hosted. He and his wife were both members of several square and round dance clubs in West Texas. They traveled to numerous locations with different groups earning various badges. During his lifetime, he was a semi-pro golfer winning numerous tournaments and making five holes-in-one. His first job associated with golf was at Mineral Wells Country Club in Mineral Wells. Over the course of his life, he was a golf course superintendent for numerous courses including Worth Hills Golf Course in Fort Worth, Maxwell Municipal Golf Course in Abilene, Ranchland Hills Golf Club in Midland, Tascosa Country Club in Amarillo and DeCorva Bend Country Club in Granbury. Up until recently he was an active member of the country club. He will be missed by all his loved ones and friends. Pallbearers include Dean Mingus, Pete Boone, Jay Hamilton, Marvin Proctor, Tom Clifton, Billy Newberry and Ronnie Snow. Honorary pallbearers include Chris Clifton and Dustin Snow. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Reed was born in Hollis, Okla., the youngest of seven boys, and raised in the Clarendon and Hedley area. He was in the Navy and served in World War II. He was a professional horseman and trainer and was known for his handmade and braided leather work. Before their deaths he did work for Ben Johnson and Lee Marvin. He was a very loving and caring man, who will be dearly missed by his children and grandchildren. He was a Baptist.
