Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of Olton with the Rev. Sharon Wiese, pastor, of Olton, and the Rev. Brad Reeves, pastor of First United Methodist Church in Muleshoe, officiating. Burial will be in Olton Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Olton. Mrs. Stiles was born July 2, 1950, in Globe, Ariz. She married John Stiles in Olton on June 12, 1969. She was a Methodist and secretary. She moved to Muleshoe from Olton in 1997. Survivors include three sons, Dennis Stiles of Fort Worth, Steve Stiles of Oklahoma Lane and John Stiles of Muleshoe; a brother, David Gary of Plainview; a sister, Patsy Ballard of Sterling, Colo.; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Mays married Frederick Erdman Mays on April 6, 1943, at Greenville. She moved to Pampa in 1997 and was a member of First Baptist Church, the Pampa Regional Medical Center Auxiliary and the Heritage Art Club. Survivors include a son, Fred Mays of Pampa; a daughter, Marsh Gilbertz of Gillette, Wyo.; a sister, Thelma Matthews of Stephenville; and three grandchildren. Rosary will be at 6 p.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Francis Smyer as celebrant. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Hernandez was born Jan. 19, 1921, in Portland to David and Guadalupe Landin Hernandez. He moved to Amarillo in 1946 and was a parishioner at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was a furniture repairman and upholsterer. He worked for Heath Furniture for 47 years. He married Tillie Gutierrez on Jan. 29, 1992. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gabriel "Gabe" Tijerina Hernandez of Wichita Falls and David O. Alexander Jr. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church with Charles Meyer, pastor of the church, officiating. Entombment will be at the columbarium at the church by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 Bell St. Mr. Alexander was born Feb. 20, 1926, in Knippa to Andrew N. Alexander and Anna Mae Hans. He graduated from Knippa High School in 1943 and joined the Marine Corp in June of 1944, serving on an aircraft carrier in the South Pacific. He married Lucille Cleveland on Nov. 25, 1944, in Santa Ana, Calif. He and his dad did custom farming in the Knippa area for several years and in 1958 went to work for Mason and Hanger-Silas Mason Co. at the Medina facility in San Antonio. In 1965 he was transferred to Amarillo and had lived here since that time. He retired from Mason-Pantex Hanger Pantex facility in December 1966. He enjoyed working in the yard, going fishing, delivering Meals on Wheels and enjoyed seeing their grandchildren grow up. He and his wife were members of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Carmen Werth; daughter, Eunice Lynn; and a grandson, D.J. Alexander. Survivors include his wife, Lucille; three sons, James and his children, Joey, Janice, Brian and April; Dennis and wife, Deanah, and their children, Crystal, Kelsey and Olaf; Terry and daughter, Brenda, and husband, Mike McCullough, their children, Melissa, Brandon and Shawn, all of Amarillo; his mother, Anna Mae, and brother-in-law, Albert Werth of Knippa; Joey has our three great-grandchildren, Brittany, Nicole and Andrew. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church. Mr. Black was ordained into the ministry in 1967 and was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. He served at Central Christian Church in Clovis, N.M., for three years as minister of youth. He also served as director of the Bible Chair of the Southwest, where he taught Bible classes at Amarillo College for 32 years. He was the executive director of Campfire Inc. He was president of the Austin Middle School Excellence Council and was a member of the Tascosa High School Excellence Council. He was a former baseball umpire. He was a graduate of Amarillo High School, West Texas State University and Eastern New Mexico University. Survivors include his wife, Marjorie; a son, Michael Kirk Black of San Antonio and daughter-in-law, Anita Black; a daughter, Heather Hays and husband, Joel, of Denton; his parents, Travis and Jody Black of Amarillo; a brother, Eddie Black of Amarillo; a grandson, Peter James Hays of Denton; and many friends and loved ones. He joined the Army in 1942 and served in World War II. He was discharged in 1945. He married Mary Ann Loving in 1958 and she preceded him in death in 1982. He married Esther Griffin in 1995. He worked for Western Builders for 25 years before retiring in 1985. He was a member of Northside United Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Hayes, in 1964; and a stepdaughter, Bernice Direne, in 2000. Mrs. Dugger was born Feb. 24, 1917, at the homestead farm near May, Okla., of her parents Peter and Maud Lienemann. She married Kenyon I. Dugger Sr. in 1935. They moved to Amarillo in 1936. She was a member of the San Jacinto Baptist Church. She was the church organist for some 30 years at the former Buchanan Street Baptist Church and most recently helped with organ playing at the Continental residence. She also taught piano and worked in Amarillo public schools during her working years. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1991. Survivors include two sons, Orel Dugger and wife, Sue, of Tahlequah, Okla., and Kenyon I. Dugger Jr. and wife, Janet, of Richardson; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many cherished friends.
