Nunley HEREFORD- William B. "Willie" Nunley, 80, died Saturday, May 18, 2002. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rest Lawn Cemetery of Hereford. Mr. Nunley was born in Jack County on Nov. 27, 1921. He married Vesta Mae Landers on March 21, 1948. Survivors include a daughter, Jackie McNeese of Hereford; two sons, Ronnie Nunley of Hereford and Rick Nunley of Amarillo; two brothers, Jess Nunley of Jacksboro and John Nunley of Fort Worth; a sister, Jewel Lewis of Dumas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. "Lem" Skaggs, 44, died Friday, May 17, 2002. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Dumas, Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Skaggs grew up around Clarksville and was a deputy for the Red River County Sheriffs Department. He married Jolene Town on Feb. 27, 1986, in Stratford. He was a mechanic most of his life and loved old cars. He had lived in Moore County for 10 years. He was the owner of West Texas Diesel Service. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Shawnda Chitwood and husband, Casey, of Amarillo, Kaylon Skaggs of Dallas and Jaclynn Skaggs of Dumas; two sons, Jordon Skaggs of Dumas and Shannon Blake of Amarillo; and a grandchild, Jayden. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Stinnett Church of Christ with Zeb Sailors officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery of Stinnett by Brown Funeral Directors. Mr. Coffee served as a second class petty officer in the Navy during the Korean War. He married Tina Brown on June 30, 1961. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Terry Lynn Coffee of Panhandle and Fred Neil Coffee of Stinnett; a brother, Wade Coffee of Iowa Park; a sister, Loretta Riddle of Amarillo; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Amarillo Globe-News, May 20, 2002 Amarillo Ophelia Joyce Maxey Sutton Ophelia Joyce Maxey Sutton, 63, of Amarillo died Friday, May 17, 2002. No services are scheduled. Cremation and arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Burial will be at a later date in Resthaven Cemetery of Midland. Mrs. Sutton was born in Kent County and had lived in Midland most of her young life. She married William Carrol Sutton in 1955. They moved to Amarillo in 1964 and she was employed by Levi Strauss for 10 years. She was a Baptist, homemaker and a loving wife and mother. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988. Survivors include three daughters, Anita Clack and husband, Mark, of Amarillo, Lydia Diane Sutton of Memphis, Tenn., and Cynthia Carol Mowry and husband, Scott, of Dover, Del.; 11 brothers and sisters; six granddaughters; three grandsons; several nieces and nephews; and many friends. Mrs. Martin was a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ, Mothers-in-Law Club and the Potter Co. Home Extension Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Martin, in 1988; a daughter, Sue Darbro; and a brother, Lowell Lee Keesee. He worked for Southwestern Public Service for 45 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Griffin; and two sisters, Denny Griffin and Martha Dofner. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Olguin was born in Coleman and had lived in Amarillo since 1954. She was a homemaker and member of Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem Church. She married Francisco O. Olguin on Oct. 9, 1927, in Santa Anna. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1986; and seven sons. Survivors include three sons, Ignocia Olguin, Andres Olguin and Luis Olguin; four daughters, Mary Helen Olguin, Linda Soria, Rosa Hernandez and Ruth Villagran, all of Amarillo; 47 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. He was a student at Greenville Aviation Maintenance Technology Center. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Quinlan.
