Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Horizon Funeral Home. Mrs. Hurtt was born Feb. 28, 1930, in Sarasota, Fla. She married William Edgar Hurtt Jr. on Aug. 5, 1968, in Sarasota. Survivors include a daughter, Shawn E. Kimber of Amarillo; a son, Richard Dennis DeLong of Sarasota; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Mrs. Wilemon was a member of Muleshoe Rebekah Lodge. She married Claud Wilemon in Farwell on Jan. 17, 1959. Survivors include a son, Walt Denny of Virginia; two daughters, Eva Pattie of Amarillo and Terie Kopf of Missouri; a brother, Frank Hamar of Plano; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, May 26, 2002 Francis G. Wilhelm Francis G. Wilhelm, 78, died Friday, May 24, 2002. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. today and Monday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the church with the Rev. Dennis Boylan, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mr. Wilhelm was born Nov. 28, 1923, in Nazareth and was a lifetime resident. He married Betty Ramaekers on May 31, 1948, in Nazareth. He was a farmer, rancher and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a member of American Legion and served as 18th District Commander and Post No. 528 Commander. He served as financial secretary for Knights of Columbus and was a member of Lions Club. He served on the Nazareth School Board for 14 years and was president for 12 years. He coached little league baseball. He served in the Army during World War II and fought in Germany, ending up in Berlin at the end of the war. He was the third American soldier to reach Dachau Concentration Camp when it was liberated. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Florine Brockman in December 2000. Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Barbara Reed of Pearland, Michele Schmucker and Gaylene Wilhelm, both of Wichita Falls, Kimberly Huseman of Amarillo and Becky Bollinger of Lubbock; eight sons, Douglas Wilhelm of Littleton, Colo., Kevin Wilhelm of Dripping Springs, Gordon Wilhelm of Bryan, Rocky Wilhelm and Hugh Wilhelm, both of Nazareth, Neal Wilhelm of Wichita Falls, Eric Wilhelm of Amarillo and Craig Wilhelm of DeSoto; three brothers, Leonard Wilhelm of Nazareth, and James Wilhelm and Jerry Wilhelm, both of Happy; 32 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Alan Alexander, a grandson, and the Rev. Bob Ulrey, pastor of First Baptist Church of Cactus-Etter, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Russell was born in Neosho, Kan., and had been a resident of Dumas since 1941. She worked at Dumas High School Cafeteria for three years prior to working in housekeeping at Dumas Memorial Hospital. She attended First United Methodist Church. She married Raymond Russell on Oct. 10, 1931, in Stigler, Okla. She was a good mother, homemaker and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include a son, James Russell of Dumas; a daughter, Sue Russell of Dumas; six grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Alzheimer's Association Panhandle Chapter, 2200 W. Seventh Ave., Amarillo, TX 79106. He married Helen Aline Morrow on May 21, 1946, in Truscott. He was employed by Exxon Corp. for 35 years before he retired and had farmed and ranched most of his life. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and was a member of First Baptist Church in Clarendon. She was a secretary for many years working for Plastic Fabricators, Pantex, as well as Santa Fe Railroad. She was voted Amarillo's Secretary of The Year in 1964. She was a member of Washington Avenue Christian Church. Survivors include her husband; a son, Kim Jordan and wife, Paula, of Canyon; a daughter, Karla McElroy and husband, B. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Bosse was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Mich. She was a graduate of Michigan State University in Kalamazoo, Mich. She married Bill Gray in 1941 at Grand Rapids. She later married Bill Bosse in 1985. She taught in the Amarillo Independent School District for 34 years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her second husband in 1985. Survivors include a daughter, Jane Taylor of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Jeannie Amon of Amarillo and Jeff Taylor of Bullard; and two great-grandchildren, Taylor Amon of Amarillo and Dalton Taylor of Bullard. Arrangements are by Dunn Funeral Home. Mrs. McGinnis was born Sept. 21, 1924, in Texas. She moved to Tucumcari in 1951 with her husband. She was a member of Center Street United Methodist Church. She will be remembered for working many years at C.R. Anthony store in downtown Tucumcari. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Mac McGinnis in 1996; and three children, Richard Dickey McGinnis in 1968, Judy Weaver in 1982 and Gary McGinnis in 2000. Survivors include two grandchildren, Bethany Weaver and Ryan Weaver, both of Albuquerque; and a sister, Betty McDaniel of Fort Worth, Texas.
