Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses with Larry Floyd, elder, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors. Mrs. Soto was born Feb. 18, 1915, in Pearsall. She had lived in Hereford for 46 years and was a homemaker. Survivors include seven sons, Jose Soto of Weslaco, Paul Soto and Johnny Soto, both of Amarillo, David Soto and Isaiah Soto, both of Hereford, Crespin Soto of Dallas and Moses Soto of Odessa; three daughters, Magdalena Beseril of Odessa, and Peggy Beltran and Angelita Soto, both of Hereford; three sisters, Catalina Campos of Colorado, Petra Berrelez of Pearsall and Julia Rodriguez of California; two brothers, Manuel Berrelez and Jesus Berrelez, both of Pearsall; 39 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Behne moved to Guymon from Lindsey in 1964. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing bingo. Mr. Campbell married Geraldine Thomas on Nov. 17, 1944. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; a son, Dean Campbell of Clovis; a daughter, Linda Walker of Roswell; two sisters, Edna Scott of Bovina, Texas, and Bobbie Mitchell of Riverside, Calif.; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, May 28, 2002 Canyon Nancy Elizabeth Strain Petruccione Nancy Elizabeth Strain Petruccione of Canyon died Sunday, May 26, 2002. Mrs. Petruccione was born in Lancaster to Horace and Mary Lee Strain. The family moved to Canyon in 1927. She graduated from Canyon High School and received a bachelor of science in education from West Texas State Teachers College. She taught grade school in Miami and spent several summers as a counselor for Life Camp in Connecticut and New Jersey. She taught for Amarillo Independent School District for eight years. She did graduate studies in social work at UCLA before returning to Amarillo where she was employed as a social worker by Texas Department of Human Services until her retirement in 1975. After her retirement, she taught many local children at her Town and Country Kindergarten in Canyon. She married Pete Petruccione on Jan. 20, 1945, in Canyon. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Canyon and served the church as a member of the choir, a member and president of Presbyterian Women's Association, a Sunday school teacher and superintendent, and was an elder. She was a member of Panhandle Pen Women. Her writing reflected her interest in and study of the history of the southwestern United States, particularly the Texas Panhandle and Moreno Valley of New Mexico. Recent interests include Santa Fe Trail Association and the Spanish Peaks area of Colorado. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Nancy Teague and husband, Gayle, of Los Alamos, N.M.; a son, Nicholas Petruccione and wife, Julie, of Canyon; two grandsons, Jonathan Teague and wife, Deanna, of Los Alamos and Anthony Petruccione of Lubbock; a sister, Dorothy Stough of Citrus Grove, Calif.; four nieces, Ann Nightingale of Ardmore, Okla., Marcia Massey of Clayton, N.M., Wilda Lee Bell of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Carol Schwab of Kendalia; and two cousins, Martha Strain Phillips of Everett, Wash., and Charles Strain of Phoenix. Private family interment was held in Llano Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Marmaduke was born in Hollis, Okla., to Hazel Snider and Elmer Willingham. She attended the University of Oklahoma and the University of Colorado. She married Sam H. Marmaduke on June 3, 1942, in Vine Grove, Ky. She was a member of the Junior League and Delta Gamma alumni. She was a boating enthusiast and cruised the Caribbean in a succession of boats named "Palo Duro." She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam H. Marmaduke, on Sept. 7, 1993. Survivors include two sons, John Marmaduke and wife, Marty, of Amarillo and Steve Marmaduke and wife, Shelly, of Pagosa Springs, Colo.; a brother, Rex Willingham of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five grandchildren, Andrea Finney of Pagosa Springs, Meredith Frazier of Dallas, Meg Marmaduke and Owen Marmaduke, both of Denver, and Samuel Marmaduke of Amarillo; and five great-grandchildren, Quinton Finney and Aaron Finney, both of Pagosa Springs, McCall Frazer, Bauer Frazer and Maitlyn Frazer, all of Dallas. Mrs. Clark was born Sept. 7, 1926, in Odell, to Broza Carl and Winnie Bell Watson. She was a homemaker and a member of Second Baptist Church. She moved to Amarillo in May 1953 from Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ozell Lee Clark on March 18, 1979; and a son, Ozell Lee Clark Jr. on Nov. 23, 1999. Survivors include three sons, Danny Clark and Bobby Clark, both of Amarillo, and Ricky Clark of Pampa; six daughters, Sandra Stovall of Coleman, and Sue Schaef, Peggy Schaef, Anita Mohler, Rhonda Hogue and Kathy Jones, all of Amarillo; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
