Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Johnny Robertson of the church officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mr. Harmon was born Sept. 24, 1920, in Rosiclare, Ill. He was a veteran of the Air Force, serving in the India campaign. Survivors include his wife, Betty; a son, Russell Harmon of Childress; a daughter, Ann Ricks of Childress; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Mrs. Buse married H.D. "Jack" Buse on Oct. 24, 1925, in Floydada. She came to Hereford in 1926 from Flomot. She was preceded in death by five sons; five brothers; and two sisters. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mr. Huffaker served in the Army during World War II, where he was in Alaska for 27 months. He married Darlene Pigg in Hattiesburg, Miss., on Sept. 11, 1944. He worked in maintenance engineering at VA Hospital for 22 years. He was a member of American Legion and a member and deacon of San Jacinto Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by a son, Richard Huffaker in 1946. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Lynda Jones and Donna Carpenter, both of Amarillo; a son, Gary William Huffaker of Dothan, Ala.; two sisters, Alice Huggins of Grove, Okla., and Laura Loehr of Fairland, Okla.; a brother, Robert Huffaker of Florence, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She married H.N. Dickson in 1953 at Amarillo. She received her education in Motley County and Plainview. She was active in arts and crafts and was office manager for General Fabricators, a business owned by her and her husband. She was a Christian and a member of North Amarillo Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Ann; and a son, Larry Dean. Survivors include her husband; two brothers, W.L. Kingery of Lubbock and Ted Kingery of Silverton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Garnett was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Mount Sharp, hill country, west of Austin. She graduated from Granbury High School. She moved to Amarillo in 1953 and retired working from Crumb Foster Co. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Ross and Jimmy Gillespie Garnett; two sisters, Tovrea Umphress and Irene Armstrong Duncan. Survivors include her niece, Wanda Foster and husband, Bert, of Glencoe, Mo.; and two nephews, Dean Armstrong of Eastland and James Ed Umphress of Spearman. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Purity Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Marc Mason, Dr. James Boyce Bankhead Jr., the Rev. Cody Watson and the Rev. Ike Kennerly officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Hill Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Liberty Hill by Barron Funeral Home. Mrs. McCaskill was born Aug. 13, 1912, in Liberty Hill, to former Governor John G. Richards and Bettie Coates Richards. She was one of nine girls and two boys. She was a graduate of Winthrop College. She married former Chester County Clerk of Court J. Boyce Bankhead. She was a home demonstration agent for Chester County for a number of years and taught chemistry at Chester High School. She was a longtime active member of Purity Presbyterian Church where she had served as the female elder. She later married John McCaskill and they had resided at Presbyterian Home in Clinton for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her first husband in 1978; and her parents. Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dr. James Boyce Bankhead Jr. of Amarillo, Texas, and John G. Richards Bankhead of Stone Mountain, Ga.; a daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Bankhead Buccheri of Evanston, Ill.; a sister, Jean Richards Roddey of Rock Hill; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Stevens was born Oct. 7, 1903, in Butler. He married Dera Thompson on Oct. 7, 1968, in Sayre. Survivors include two stepsons, Floyd Thompson of Amarillo, Texas, and Glen Thompson of Elk Grove, Calif.; many stepgrandchildren; several step great-grandchildren; and numerous step great-great-grandchildren.
