Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. in Hereford Senior Citizens Ballroom. Arrangements are by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home. Mrs. Miller was born July 5, 1918, in Coleman County. She married William Dalton Askew on Jan. 12, 1935, in Lovington, N.M. Survivors include a son, Jerald D. Askew of Hereford; two daughters, Ronda Brown of Santa Teresa, N.M., and LaReece Miller of Mansfield; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She married Edmund Bermea on Dec. 7, 1959, in Menard. She was a member of St. Teresa's Catholic Church in Friona. Mrs. McMahon graduated from Rosati-Kain High School in St. Louis, Mo. She married Thomas L. McMahon in St. Louis. She was a Community Chest chairwoman and hosted a cooking program on KGNC-TV in the 1950s. She operated a day-care program from the 1950s to the 1990s. She was a food economist for Walsh Food Service. She was a talk show hostess on KVII-TV in the 1950s and 1960s. She produced a frozen food line for local grocery stores. She was an Amarillo Museum Docent. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she was past president for the Altar Society. She volunteered and was a chairwoman for various activities for St. Mary's Parish, school and Price College High School. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; and two daughters, Mary Carter in 1984 and Candace McMahon-Boren in 2001. Survivors include a daughter, Marcia L. McMahon-Manning of Euless; two sons, Michael L. McMahon of Amarillo and Kevin G. McMahon of Lubbock; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Grenola Christian Church. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Grenola by Zimmerman Funeral Home of Howard. Mrs. Elsheimer was born Nov. 10, 1912, in Wauneta, to Andrew Johnson and Lona E. Canon Richards. She was a current resident of Pampa, Texas, and a former resident of Grenola. On May 12, 1931, on the day she graduated from high school, she married Philip A. Elsheimer at Grenola. She was a loving wife and mother. She dedicated her life to making a home for her family in the Grenola community. After the death of her husband she moved to Pampa to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her husband on July 4, 1986. Survivors include two daughters, Eleanor Mercer and husband, Bill, of Amarillo, Texas, and Phyllis Harden and husband, Gale, of Pampa; a son, Philip Elsheimer and wife, Phyllis, of Pampa; six grandchildren, Scott Mercer of Amarillo, Eddie Mercer and K.C. Mercer, of Midland, Texas, Greg Harden and wife, Kristi, and Andy Elsheimer and wife, Paula, all of Pampa, and Lance Mercer and wife, Donna, of Blunt, S.D.; and nine great-grandchildren.
