Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors, Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Doug DuBose, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Butler was born on Nov. 25, 1918, in Groom. She graduated from Groom High School in 1937 and from Draughn's Business College in Oklahoma City in 1938. While attending Draughn's, she met Everett R. Butler of Marlow, Okla. They married on May 5, 1939, and were lovingly married for 63 years. Following his service in the Navy during World War II, the couple made their home in White Deer where Mr. Butler worked at Dorchester Cargray Natural Gas Plant for 33 years before retiring to Pampa in 1982. She worked as a teller at Security Federal Savings and Loan Association in Pampa for 18 years. She was widely known throughout the area. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Pampa. Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Eileen Dibble of Bedford; two sons, Rickey Butler of Aurora, Colo., and Chris Butler of League City; two sisters, Virginia Vance of Oklahoma City and Cleo Nix of Groom; a brother, Orville Franklin of Pampa; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Warner Jr., 85, died Thursday, June 27, 2002. Memorial services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Scott Penrod, pastor, officiating. Burial was at 4 p.m. Saturday in Chillicothe Cemetery in Chillicothe by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Warner was born June 15, 1917, in Chadron, Neb. He graduated from Amarillo High School and attended Oklahoma State University, West Texas State University and received a law degree from Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tenn. He married Alice Tabor on Oct. 23, 1937, in Little Rock, Ark., and they were married for 65 years. He was an independent oil producer and was a veteran of the Navy, serving during World War II. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Thera Warner Scott of Canyon; two sons, Eben D. Graveside services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday in Sunset Terrace Cemetery of Farwell with the Rev. Aaron Reed, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bovina, officiating. Arrangements are by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona. Mrs. Kirkpatrick lived in Hereford for the past five years moving from Farwell. She had formerly lived in Clovis, N.M., from 1966 to 1980. She was a cook and waitress at Roden-Smith Drug Store. She married J.B. Stover in 1939. He died in 1972. She married Lloyd Kirkpatrick in 1980. He died in 1988. Survivors include a son, Jerry Stover of Farwell; a sister, Betty Irby of Arkansas; a brother, Jim Sampley of Roswell, N.M.; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mrs. Morriss was born June 19, 1937, in Georgetown. She married Roy Morriss on Feb. 18, 1972, in Pampa. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1972. She worked at the Hutchinson County Library in Borger. She worked for the Phil-Pet Federal Credit Union as a bookkeeper and the Amarillo Federal Credit Union in Pampa as branch manager, retiring after 27 years of service. She also worked for Ethridge Claims Service. She was a member of the Pampa Chamber of Commerce Gold Coats, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Altrusa Club and the Women of the Moose. She was the former secretary for the Pampa Bowling Association, former president of the Pampa Fine Arts and a Chautauqua volunteer. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include her husband; a stepdaughter, Panda Bourelee of Bishop, Calif.; her mother, Alpha Carter of Carmine; a sister, Georgie Edith Flinn of Carmine; two stepgrandsons; a niece; and four nephews. Brady Alan Sewell was born April 16, 1980, in Aurora, Colo., to Rod and Sherry (Love) Sewell. They moved to Dalhart in 1983. He was a 1999 graduate of Dalhart High School. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing as well as cowboy bronc riding in ranch rodeos. Calvin Beach, of Royce City, and the Rev. Philip Hilton, pastor of Sunray Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Lane Memorial Cemetery by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mrs. Lummus was born July 27, 1913, in Wellington. She was a member of the Parkside Baptist Church in Denison. She married Waddie Lummus on Dec. 31, 1931, in Sayre, Okla. He died in 1981. She was very active in the Sunray Baptist Church. She was a Dumas resident since January of this year prior to Denison for five years. She was a former longtime Sunray resident for more than 50 years. "I've pressed on toward the goal to win the prize for which God promised. God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus and I am home." She was preceded in death by eight sisters and two brothers. Survivors include a son, Bill Lummus of Dumas; three daughters, Jeanette Anderson and Sandy Lummus, both of Dumas, and Shirley Beard of Denison; a brother, Calvin Beach of Royce City; a sister, Lora Warren of Westminster, Colo.; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Cochran, 85, died Wednesday, June 26, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Christian Church of Borger. Burial will be in Memory Gardens of Pampa by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Cochran was born in Ennis on Jan. 21, 1917. He came to Borger in 1932. He was a graduate of Borger High School and Frank Phillips Junior College and served as a pilot in the Pacific Theater during World War II. He married Hila Renick on May 23, 1942. They lived in Phillips for 31 years before moving to Borger in 1978. He retired from Phillips Petroleum Co. in 1979. He was preceded in death by his wife; three brothers; and a sister. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Groom of Warren, Vt., and Linda Ross of Austin; a sister, Judith Clements of Borger; two brothers, John Cochran of San Marcos, Calif., and Delbert Cochran of Pecos; three grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Mrs. Berger was born Sept. 26, 1922, in Childress. She had owned and operated the House of Crafts in Big Spring for 21 years. Amarillo Globe-News, June 30, 2002 William Daniel Donnell LUBBOCK - William Daniel Donnell, 38, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002. Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday in Dryden Church in Harmon County, Okla., with Jim Westmoreland, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Dryden Cemetery by Stewart Funeral Service. Mr. Donnell was born March 9, 1964, to William Orville Donnell and Sharon (Young) Donnell in Amarillo. He grew up in Lubbock and attended Coronado High School, Texas Tech and the University of Central Oklahoma. His membership was at Calvary Baptist Church. He was an active volunteer in Texas Special Olympics and National Ranching Heritage Center in Lubbock. He worked at the National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Cox Communications. Deciding to further his education, he went back to school and in July was to complete his degree in medical transcriptions. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Curtis Young, Orville V. Donnell and Marie Donnell; and his great-grandparents, Ferd and Rena Young and Henry and Beulah Foulks, all of Hollis, Okla. Survivors include his parents, Bill and Sharon of Lubbock; his grandmother, Edra Foulks Young of Amarillo; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Swain and husband, John, of Abernathy; and a nephew, Will Swain. Georgia. Mr. Hickam was born in Maxwell, N.M., to H.B. and Helen Hickam. He graduated from high school in Springer, N.M. He attended Highland University in Las Vegas, N.M. Mr. Hickam married Patsy Clark in Amarillo on Dec. 12, 1981. He formerly owned and managed Texhoma Livestock Auction. He was a cattleman and race horse enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents. He attended the Jan Werner Care Center and lived with his friends at the Club Meadows Group Home. He touched many lives during his life and he will be greatly missed. He was the son of Annie and Edgar Phillips who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by Clarence, James, Edward Phillips and Edna Durham. She was a remarkable daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, niece, cousin and friend, who will be dearly missed. She was a longtime member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. She will be remembered by family, friends and care givers as a sweet, loving mother with a love for life and people. She was a loving mother and grandmother who cared for her family very much. She married Brady Earl Morford on Nov. 29, 1958, in Amarillo. She came to Amarillo in 1999 from Giddings. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Earl Morford, in July 1998. Survivors include a son, Robert Kennedy and wife, Celeste, of Amarillo; a daughter, Helen Willingham and husband, Don, of Giddings; five brothers, Marvin L. Swindell and William H.
