Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Brinkman Cemetery of Oklahoma by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mrs. Morgan was born Dec. 23, 1905, in Greer County, Okla. She married Charlie A. Morgan on July 28, 1923, in Mangum, Okla. He died in 1975. She had lived in Lefors since 1975. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Lefors. She was preceded in death by two sons, Austin S. Morgan and Winston L. Morgan. Survivors include two daughters, Velma Deering and husband, Glen, of Sachse and Eva J. He married Karilyn Stewart on Sept. 15, 1962, in Amarillo. He worked for Western National Life Insurance Co. from 1959 to 1987 and for Amarillo College from 1988 to his retirement in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley Arabie; and a grandson, Wesley Scott Levitt. Mrs. Woods was a native of Topeka, Kan., where she spent most of her life. She worked at the Menninger Foundation for 17 years from 1958 until retirement in 1975. Mrs. Miller was born Jan. 25, 1942, in Amarillo to Odell "Luke" and Laura Lou Campbell Miller. She was raised in Canyon and graduated from Canyon High School as valedictorian of her class in 1960. She served with the Dallas Police Department for 25 years, retiring in 1991. She moved back to Canyon in May of 1991 and worked as a bookkeeper for Joe and Cindy Burnett and as a receptionist for Brooks Funeral Directors. She died of cancer in her home surrounded by loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father in 1990; and a brother, C.L. Miller, in 1992.
