Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Dumas with the Rev. Eddie Tubbs, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors. Mr. Montgomery had been a resident of Amarillo for the past two years. He was a prior Dalhart resident and former longtime Dumas resident. He was a graduate of Dumas High School in 1991. He worked for Jack Sisemore Traveland in Amarillo the past year. Survivors include his parents, Ted and Marguerite Montgomery of Dumas; his grandmother, Juanita Montgomery of Fritch; his grandfather, Charles Foster Sr. of Texas; and a brother, Shelton W. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Reeves worked as a barber in the Amarillo Building for 30 years. He married Nan Little in 1974 in Sayre, Okla. Mrs. Brown was born May 23, 1918, in Roscoe to Willie G. and Mable (Trimble) Reeves. She married R.T. Brown on Jan. 14, 1937, in Big Springs. Survivors include two sons, Truitt Brown of Dalhart and Jodie Brown of Arvada, Colo.; a daughter, Barbara Isgitt of Houston; a sister, Jewell Fincher of Cave Junction, Ore.; a brother, Roland Reeves of Dalhart; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, July 7, 2002 Linda Walls Clark CLAUDE - Linda Walls Clark, 54, died Thursday, July 4, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Trinity Baptist Church with David Evans, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Mrs. Clark was born Oct. 11, 1947, to Roy G. and Norine Walls. She was raised on the family farm east of Amarillo and attended Highland Park School. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1965. She received her bachelor of science degree from Texas Woman's University in Denton in 1969 and her master of education degree from East Texas State University at Commerce in 1978. She also completed post-graduate work in Education Administration at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. She was an elementary school teacher in Irving, Amarillo and Claude during her 30-year career in education. She spent 15 years as the Regional Head Start Program Coordinator for the Region XVI Education Service Center from 1980 to 1995. During her lifetime she was a member of and served as an officer in the Panhandle Association for Children with Learning Disabilities and the Panhandle Association for the Education of Young Children. She was a charter member and officer in the Panhandle Council of Women School Executives as well as a member of state and national Head Start associations. She married Rodney E. Clark on Jan. 28, 1983, in Amarillo. Survivors include her husband; a son, Christopher P. Clark of Claude; two brothers, Clifton Walls of Boerne and Richard Walls of Grand Junction, Colo.; three sisters, Ruth Houston of Houston, Velma Lou Sellman of Elgin and Hazel Dockery of Grand Junction, Colo.; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She later moved to Amarillo where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1954. She attended TCU and graduated from Texas Tech in 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Leachman. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Dr. Reid Leachman; four sons, Dr. Mike Leachman and wife, Janeen, of Spokane, Wash., Andy Leachman and wife, Shelley, of Lancaster, Colo., Dr. David Leachman and wife, Lorraine, of Albuquerque and Joe Leachman and wife, Jenny, of Orange County, Calif.; and seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Eric, Ryan, Stephen, Mason, Reagan and Jade.
