Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gerald Boerger, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home. Mr. Hancock was born June 28, 1983, in Conway, Ark. He attended schools in Dumas, Lockney and Plainview. Survivors include his mother, Shelley Stukey of Plainview; his stepfather, Leland Stukey of Plainview; his father, William Hancock of Amarillo; two sisters, Michelle Gilly of Plainview and Brittany Hancock of Amarillo; a stepsister, Alyssa Stukey of Possum Kingdom; and his fiance, Amber Kammerdiener of Plainview. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Greg Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree Cemetery by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mr. Richardson was a junior at Perryton High School where he was a member of the football, track and UIL teams. He was a member of the student council as a sophomore where he was the vice president and was also a member of the First United Methodist Church Youth Group. Survivors include his parents, Carla and John Bozeman of Perryton; his father, Lee Richardson of Austin; his grandparents, George and Ava Zoller of Perryton and Sue Wolgast of Richardson; and a sister, Carlee Richardson of Perryton. Garretson, 77, died Friday, July 5, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hale Center Cemetery by Freeman-Abell Funeral Home. Mr. Garretson was born in Dallas on Feb. 20, 1925. He married Mary Lunn on Dec. 1, 1950, in Amarillo. Survivors include a son, Jay Garretson of Lubbock; a daughter, Claudia West of Hale Center; a sister, Virginia "Jinky" Duskey of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and five grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, July 8, 2002 Earline Moore DALHART - Earline Moore, 85, died Saturday, July 6, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Dalhart Church of Christ with Dean Whaley, minister of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery of Lubbock by Horizon Funeral Home. Mrs. Moore was born March 24, 1917, in Lubbock to Will and Effie (Duke) Sansing. On Dec. 20, 1938, she married B.L. Moore in Brownfield. They farmed in the Lubbock area until 1945 when they moved to Levelland. In 1959 they moved to Dimmitt before moving to Dalhart in 1975. She was an active member of Dalhart Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, Leland Darrel; and her parents. Survivors include three sons, Gary and wife, Judy, of Sunray, Don and wife, Paralyn, of Canyon and Cletus and wife, Karen, of Graham; two brothers, Carroll Sansing and Bernie Sansing; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, July 8, 2002 J.C. Reeves SHAMROCK - J.C. Reeves, 87, died Saturday, July 6, 2002. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Shamrock Cemetery with Don Sessom, pastor of Millersview Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Reeves was born June 29, 1915, in Wheeler County. He married Marie Gadbois on Dec. 26, 1941, in Manchester, N.H. She died in 1973, and he then married Nan Little in 1974 in Sayre, Okla. He worked as a barber in the Amarillo Building for 30 years. He moved back to Shamrock in 1976, and had been involved with ranching and stock farming since that time. He was a veteran, having served in the Air Force during World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Reeves. Survivors include a daughter, Carol Anne Sessom of Paint Rock; three brothers, Amos Reeves of Shamrock, Kenneth Reeves of Pampa and Donald Reeves of Wheeler; and a granddaughter, Candie Jo Sessom of Rockwall. Georgia St. Mr. Moyer was born in Littlefield. He served in the Army. He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Allen Moyers, in 1951. Amarillo Globe-News, July 8, 2002 Willie Garrett Willie "Granny" Garrett, 97, of Amarillo died Saturday, July 6, 2002. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Schooler Funeral Home Chapel, 4100 S. Georgia St., with the Rev. Travis Laduke officiating. Private burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Garrett was born Feb. 19, 1905, in Hope. She married William Pearce Garrett on Aug. 1, 1924, in Hallettsville. They resided in Yoakum until 1943 when they moved to Amarillo. She and her husband owned H&H Cleaners until his death on Jan. 4, 1961. She was a homemaker and a seamstress and continued to do alterations in her home until she was 90 years of age. Lovingly known to her family and friends as "Granny," she loved her God and was devoted to her family and church. She was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church and the Ruth Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pearce; a son-in-law, Louis Franks; a granddaughter, Zee McQueen, and her husband, Buster; and a great-great-grandson, Sawyer McQueen. Survivors include three daughters, Bess Yarbrough and husband, Herman, of Memphis, Billye Jean Talley and husband, Bill, of Amarillo and Barbara Flynn and husband, Jerry, of Evant; five granddaughters; 10 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home. Byerley I.N. "Ike" Byerley, 80, of Amarillo, died Saturday, July 6, 2002. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Bennet of Freedom Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mr. Byerley was born Jan. 10, 1922, in Boise City, Okla. He retired in 1966 from the Air Force as a lieutenant colonel after 27 years of service. He married Wilma Jo Hale on March 11, 1941, and she preceded him in death in 1987. He was active in real estate as well as oil and gas. He married Beverly Jameson on June 29, 1990. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael Byerley of Waco and William Byerley of Arlington; a daughter, Melinda Hawkins of Alexandria, Va.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Southwest Church of Christ with Billy Burr and Brent Adams, ministers of the church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with Henry Moses and Pecos Schaffer of Trinity Fellowship Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Edwards was born May 21, 1975, in U.S. Darnall Army Hospital at Fort Hood to Brenda and Roger Edwards. He attended school in Tulia and graduated from Highland Park High School in Amarillo and attended Amarillo College. He was an a assistant manager at Bennigan's Restaurant and had previously worked at local hotels and restaurants. He grew up attending First United Methodist Church of Tulia and he and his family were members of Southwest Church of Christ. He married Kesha Wootton-Stone on May 1, 1999, in Amarillo. His daughter, Sadie Claire, was born Dec. 22, 2001. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter H. Edwards and James W. Lawson. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sadie Claire of Amarillo; his parents, Brenda and Roger Edwards of Plainview; his grandmothers, Barbara C. Edwards of Midland and Alice Lawson of Tulia; his grandparents-in-law, Boots and James Stone and Mary and Tommy Wootton of Amarillo; his in-laws, Rick and Debby Stone of Amarillo; a sister, Susan Artho and husband, Andrew, of Plainview; a brother-in-law, Brandon Stone of Amarillo; three aunts, Jan Steffe of Plainview, Pam Lawson of Arlington and Betsy Lawson of Tulia; two uncles, Richard Edwards of Midland and Bryan Edwards; and several cousins. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. today in Mountainside Church of Christ in Albuquerque. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Llano Cemetery of Amarillo. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Leachman was born in Pampa to W.A. Meyers Sr. and Alta Meyers. She later moved to Amarillo where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1954. She attended TCU and graduated from Texas Tech in 1958. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Leachman. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Dr. Reid Leachman; four sons, Dr. Mike Leachman and wife, Janeen, of Spokane, Wash., Andy Leachman and wife, Shelley, of Lancaster, Colo., Dr. David Leachman and wife, Lorraine, of Albuquerque and Joe Leachman and wife, Jenny, of Orange County, Calif.; and seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Eric, Ryan, Stephen, Mason, Reagan and Jade.
