Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with John Ohlig of the church officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home. Mr. Moreno was born Aug. 14, 1959, in Plainview. He worked for Excel for 10 years. Survivors include three daughters, Isabel Ramirez of Amarillo, Irma Moreno of Plainview and Cassandra Moreno of Edinburg; two sons, Roberto Moreno Jr. and Israel Moreno, both of Plainview; two stepdaughters, Abigail Garcia and Aracely Garcia, both of Edinburg; four brothers, Lorenzo Moreno Jr. of Dallas, Domacio Moreno of Arlington, Faustino Moreno of Plainview and Reynaldo Moreno of Edinburg; four sisters, Santa Ramirez of Plainview, Dora Escobar of Edinburg, and Julia Moreno and Juana Moreno, both of Fort Worth; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors Colonial Chapel with the Rev. Jim Teeter, pastor of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be at 4:30 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis. Mr. Rich owned and operated Rich Automotive Garage, retiring in 1985. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in Central Europe during World War II. Survivors include three sisters, Neva Dyer of Pampa, Marie Olivolo of Woodward, Okla., and Betty Cooke of Palestine. Osage St. Mr. Ioor was born in Memphis and had worked for Northwest Texas Hospital in Central Supply. Amarillo Globe-News, July 13, 2002 Evangeline Baker Archer Evangeline Baker Archer, 81, of Amarillo died Wednesday, July 10, 2002. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Friday in Memorial Park Cemetery with David Veazey, pastor of Amarillo Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements were by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. Archer retired after 31 years of teaching in the Amarillo schools. She was a member of Lambda Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa International Teachers Sorority since 1960 and was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a member of Amarillo Baptist Church. She married Branch T. Archer on Dec. 29, 1943. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 7, 1995; and a daughter, Dr. Evangeline Archer in Houston, on July 8, 1995. Survivors include a granddaughter, Elisa Williams and husband, Stan, of Amarillo; a grandson, Aaron Guest and wife, Star, of Savannah, Ga.; a great-grandson, Landon Williams of Amarillo; a sister, Lois Marie Rose of Fort Worth; her caregiver of seven years, Pebble Jordan of Amarillo; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Polk Street United Methodist Church Chapel with Dr. James E. Garrett, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mrs. Wester was born and lived most of her life in Amarillo. She was the daughter of T.W. and Alma Brummett McBride. Her father was the county judge in Potter County in 1914. Her grandfather, William H. Brummett, was city judge in Amarillo at the same time. She graduated from Matador High School in Matador and lived briefly in Austin before moving back to Amarillo. She married Randall E. Wester in 1936 at Amarillo. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Howard of Dallas; two nephews, Roy McBride of Amarillo and L.M. McBride of Lebanon, Ore.; five nieces, Doris Anderson of Midland, Reba Hewitt of Highland, Calif., Pat York of Tuscola, Irma Ruth of San Diego and Virginia Watts of Van Horn. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery by Stewart Funeral Service. Mrs. Boone was born April 23, 1913, in Whitesboro. She married O.A. "Buffalo" Boone on Feb. 18, 1928. Survivors include her husband; five sons, W.T. Boone, Douglas Boone, Curtis Boone and Nicky Boone, all of Hollis, and Don Boone of Follett, Texas; four daughters, Lilly Moldenhauer and Jeanne Larance, both of Amarillo, Texas, Elaine Boatwright of Weatherford, Texas, and Fayreen Lucus of Wichita Falls, Texas; 30 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Mr. Searcy was a Navy veteran of World War II, a volunteer campground host for the U.S. Forestry in Colorado for 11 years and a Postmaster for 29s years before retiring. Survivors include his wife, Anne; three sons, Stephen Searcy of Stinnett, the Rev. Daniel Searcy of Pueblo, Colo., and Kevin Searcy of Goodwell, Okla.; three daughters, Rachel Anderson of Fort Worth, Jennifer Searcy of Dallas and Aileen Ross of Durham, N.C.; a brother, Cleo Searcy of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews and numerous friends.
