Mrs. Venegas was born May 4, 1947, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She was a homemaker. Burial will be in Mobeetie Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Mrs. Ridgway was born to Paul and Sarah Ray Corcoran on Nov. 8, 1923, in Mobeetie. She lived in Mobeetie all of her life. She graduated from Mobeetie High School in 1941 and attended Draughon's Business School in Amarillo. She married H.J. "Cotton" Ridgway on Oct. 5, 1946, in Pampa. She was a member of Mobeetie United Methodist Church and served as church treasurer. Survivors include a son, Bill Ridgway and wife, Virginia, of Mobeetie; two daughters, Carla Sims and husband, Kent, of Booker and Kay Hobdy and husband, Bill, of Canadian; a brother, Ariza Corcoran of McLean; a sister, Evelyn Riley of McLean; and three grandchildren. He was a 1957 graduate of Perryton High School. He was a dispatcher for BJ Services and worked in the oil service industry for 25 years. He taught band in Claude and Perryton. He married Barbara Pittman on Aug. 3, 1990, in Perryton. Mr. Ashcraft was born in Barnerdale, Ark. He had been a resident of Amarillo for many years. He served in the Marines for 10 years and the Navy for five years. He married Vernetta Pierce on March 10, 1961, in Panhandle. After working several jobs, he worked for K-Mart until his retirement in 1988. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by a son, Donald Edward Ashcraft in 1994. He worked for city of Amarillo Fire Department and retired as a captain. He was owner of Mac's High-Tech Fiberglass. He had been a member of San Jacinto Masonic Lodge 1330 for 27 years. He was also a member of Lubbock Scottish Rite, Khiva Temple, where he was active in Muleskinners and Khiva Klowns, and Coors Cowboy Club. He had been presented the Khiva Temple Jewel for service. He had served on the Tri-State Fair Board of Directors and the Crippled Children's Hospital Board in Houston. He married Linda Busick on Aug. 12, 1976, in Mena, Ark. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Maxine Silverstein of Amarillo; four daughters, Sharon McKinney Jones, Sandi McKinney Dean and Kari Eagleston, all of Amarillo, and Susan McKinney Hicks of Canyon; a son, Doug Morrison of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She graduated from Groom High School in 1942. She married Oliver Allstrom on March 17, 1948, in Pampa. She lived in Houston for 40 years before moving back to Amarillo in 1989 to be near her family. She loved sports, especially football and basketball, and she was an avid Houston Cougar fan. She enjoyed sewing crafts and working puzzles. Most importantly, she loved the Lord; her faith was unshakable. She was an active member of Bell Avenue Church of Christ, where she was the church secretary for four years until her illness. Her family and friends will miss her friendly smile and the joyous sound of her laughter. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1971; and her parents. Survivors include a brother, Hulon "Slim" Bagwell and wife, Odessa, of Amarillo; two sisters, M.E. Bell St. Mrs. Bainum was born Sept. 4, 1937, in Floyd County. She married Danny Bainum on Jan. 16, 1954, in Friona. She was a member of St. Stephen United Methodist Church. She and her husband farmed in Hartley for 13 years and then went into the restaurant business including K-Bob's in Clovis, N.M., Danny's Steakhouse in Pampa and Village II in Canyon. She served as a WAVE for three years during World War II, 1942-1945. She married Harry H. Kleman on Feb. 16, 1969, in St. Anthony's Church in Hereford. She worked at Pantex, Dimmitt Bank and Pioneer Natural Gas Co. in Hereford. She served more than 3,000 hours as a volunteer at St. Anthony's Hospice, Veteran's Hospital, Food Bank and helping neighbors and friends, and Catholic Family Service. She was a Catholic and a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980; her parents; a sister, Alice; and two brothers, Herman Acker and Paul Acker.
