Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in United Pentecostal Church in Allison with the Rev. M.C. McDaniel, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Zybach Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home of Wheeler. Ms. Bricker was born Feb. 22, 1942, in San Angelo, to L.J. and Delores Ripple Willson. She was employed by Thriftway of Wheeler. She was a member of United Pentecostal Church in Allison. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include a sister, Paulette Otwell of San Angelo; and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. Mr. Sharp was born March 5, 1934, in Newcastle, Ky. He was a Moore county resident for 36 years. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Nivens was born in Estelle and had lived in Amarillo since 1945. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone after 39 years. She married Bill Frank Nivens in 1942. She was a member of Telephone Pioneers Club and Cattlemans Association. She was preceded in death by her husband on May 6, 1971, in Amarillo. Survivors include a daughter, Debrah Gomez of Grand Rapids, Mich.; two grandchildren, Katrina Warminski of White Deer and Kenneth Whisenhunt II of Amarillo; and four great-grandchildren, Chace Whisenhunt, Starr Whisenhunt, Tanner Auldridge and Hunter Warminski. Amarillo Globe-News, July 30, 2002 Frank J. Callas Frank J. Callas, 70, of Amarillo, died Saturday, July 27, 2002. Mr. Callas was born in Detroit on Feb. 9, 1932. He was a graduate of Almont High School in Almont, Mich., and went to trade school to continue his education. He joined the Air Force in 1952 and was stationed in Amarillo. He served as an instructor of the 15th stage of jet engine and final inspection during the Korean War, where he received a National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. He worked as a printer for 17 years. He started Whiz Graphic Equipment and Supply. He got a U.S. patent and started manufacturing and marketing the "Bead Bomber." He enjoyed building and racing motorcycles, go-karts and odysseys for family and friends to race. He was known by his friends as the "Bultaco Man" and "Mad Jetter." He was a member of Tri-State Go Karting Club. He married Mildred Schulte on Nov. 11, 1967, in Tulia. He lived in Amarillo for the past 35 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, John and Anna Callas; two foster fathers, Red Brooks and Howard Stern of Michigan; and two brothers, George Callas of Michigan and Andy Callas of Ohio. Survivors include two daughters, Janet Callas and Karen Callas, both of Amarillo; a son, John Callas of Amarillo; a sister, Shirley Cissna of Sacramento, Ky.; a brother, John Paul Callas of Caldwell; two foster mothers, Gertie Brooks and Helen Stern of Almont; special family members including, Lacy Hart, Rosella Curry, Shawn Curry, Dana and Jeff Arnold and James Castro; two nephews; a niece; and all the Gerber family. She was very active and supportive of the Canyon High School Football Team and was awarded "Team Mom" in 1999 by the team. She served on High Plains Epilepsy Board and on the American Heart Association as an executive on the Heart Ball board. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and St. Thomas Altar Guild. She was a big fan of Texas Tech football. She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Cecil Sellers. He was an Army veteran and was an antique collector and dealer. Survivors include his mother, Otha Raines of Amarillo; and two sisters, Nita Hodges and Patsy Higgs, both of Amarillo. Mr. Humphrey was born in Frederick, Okla., to Marshall M. and Addie Crawford Humphrey. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. He was stationed in the Philippines and was a member of the Occupation of Japan Forces. He also served in Korea. He married Gerlene Hill on June 4, 1946, in Cordell, Okla., and they were married for 56 years. He moved to Amarillo in 1951. He and his family were the first in the Eastridge addition of Amarillo. He was a former employee of Amarillo Hardware. He was a member of Osage Baptist Church. She was musical, intellectually daring, tolerant and universally loved and respected. The Rogers family moved to Guymon from Rush Springs in 1943. She was a supervisor for GTE, retiring in 1982 with 30 years of service. Memorial services will be Wednesday in Norfolk. Arrangements are by H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments of Chesapeake. Mr. Hill was raised in Amarillo. He retired a senior master chief in Norfolk after a 38-year naval career. Survivors include his wife, Martha; two sons, Kelly Hill and Wes Hill, both of Norfolk; five grandchildren of Norfolk; and a brother, Herb Hill of Amarillo.
