Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Lee, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Shamrock Cemetery by Wright Funeral Directors. Mr. Vampran was born Jan. 19, 1954, in Independence, La. He married Eliza Ramos on June 11, 1979. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Taylor Vampran of Shamrock; and a sister, Angela of Ohio. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 10, 2002 Amarillo Doyle McCuistion Sanford Doyle McCuistion Sanford, 96, formerly of Amarillo died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, in El Paso. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Sanford was born in Miami and lived most of her life in Amarillo. She was the daughter of Noah and Elizabeth McCuistion, a pioneer ranching family. She had resided for the last 20 years in El Paso. She was a member of Coronado Christian Church, the Magna Charter Dames and Daughters of the American Revolution. Survivors include a sister, Carlene Garwood; and a nephew, Rockee McCuistion. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 10, 2002 Elsewhere Wilbur F. "Bill" Williams - Wilbur F. "Bill" Williams, 91, formerly of Amarillo died Friday, Aug. 9, 2002. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are by DeBerry Funeral Directors. Mr. Williams was born April 28, 1911, to Frank and Mae Carson Williams in Iowa. He served in the Navy during World War II. He retired as building superintendent for C.S. Lambie Construction Co. of Amarillo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Williams. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret A. Wilkinson of Electra; two sons, William E. Hamilton of Spring and Merrill Hamilton of Haltom City; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a great-great-grandchild. The family suggests memorials be to American Cancer Society, Denton Unit, 3301 W. Freeway, Fort Worth, TX 76107.
