Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Central Christian Church with the Rev. Kerry Wood, music minister of First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery. Arrangements are by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Boyd was the daughter of A.G. and Laura Stipes Woods. She was a member of King Memorial Methodist Church and Central Christian Church. Survivors include a daughter, Kay Damron of Amarillo; a son, Brad Boyd of Vernon; two sisters, Janella "Jan" Alzman, of Clarendon, and Alvalie Creech, of Carrollton; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Wallace Funeral Home. Mr. Stidham served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1960. He was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. Mr. Bybee was born July 24, 1929 in Lockney to Delbert and Lois Baker Bybee. He married Patricia Hobbs on July 1, 1977. Mr. Rodriguez moved to Dimmitt in 1969 from Mexico. He worked for Dimmitt Agri for 14 years and Bud Hill Feedyard for nine years. Survivors include his wife, Librada; his father, Ignacio Rodriguez of Mexico; two sons, Luis Rodriguez and Ismael Rodriguez Jr., both of Dimmitt; a daughter, Claudia Luna of Amarillo; five brothers, Juan Rodriguez, Benito Rodriguez and Antonio Rodriguez of Mexico; Ignacio Rodriguez of Nacogdoches and Alejandro Rodriguez of Chicago; six sisters, Bertha Rodriguez, Adelina Rodriguez, Hortencia Rodriguez, Alicia Galvan and Josefa Almendarez of Mexico and Severa Rodriguez of Clever; and a grandson, Alexander Luna of Amarillo. Lee Banks, associate pastor, and Mitch Boydstun officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Reid was born in Mt. Clemens, Mich., and lived in Adrian since 1995. He owned and operated a remodeling construction business. He worked on many houses and ranches in the area with the help of his children and employees. He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Reid. Survivors include two sons, Edward Reid of Adrian and John Greer of Houston; two daughters, Desiree Reid and Heather (Mimi) Reid of Amarillo; a grandson, Hayden Melius of Amarillo; his mother, Lynne Swift of Magalia, Calif.; two brothers, Thom Reid of Santa Cruz, Calif. and Matt Reid of Fort Eustis, Va.; a sister, Erin Reid of San Jose, Calif.; seven nieces; seven nephews; and many friends. (Buddy) Malone, 82, of Claude died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2002 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Claude Cemetery with the Rev. Bryan Knowles of Community Fellowship Church, Clarendon, and the Rev. Joannie Jackson of Calvary Hill Church, Kingsland, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Claude Chapel. Mr. Malone was born June 20, 1920 in Denton to Jimmie and Jewel Malone. The Malone family consisting of sons Buddy, Lonnie, James and their parents moved to Amarillo in 1923. His sister, Stella, was born in Amarillo in 1924. He married Judy Parkhill on Sept. 20, 1941, in Amarillo. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2001. He retired from ICX Freight Line in 1977, and he and his wife moved to Lake Texoma (Sherwood Shores) that same year. They moved to Claude in May 2001. Mr. Malone was a Christian and member of First Baptist Church in Claude. He loved his family and his family loved him. Survivors include his wife; a son Jerry Malone and wife Sherry of Pearland; two daughters, Judy Hodges and her husband, Bill, of Clarendon, and Jada Garrett and husband, Steve, of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Michele Malone of Cypress and Melissa Styles of Houston; two grandsons, Ty and Bryce Garrett of Amarillo; and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Styles of Houston. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 13, 2002 Elsewhere Robert Loyd Finke TRACY, Calif. - Robert Loyd Finke, 90, died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2002 in Livermore, Calif. Ashes were scattered at sea by the Neptune Society of Northern California. Mr. Finke, formerly of Amarillo, was a self-employed painting contractor for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1932-1936. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Neitzel; a son, Robert Finke Jr.; a sister, Nadine Eisen; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 13, 2002 Maxine Hyde Bolding CORBIN, Ky. - Maxine Hyde Bolding, 79, of Corbin and formerly of Friona, Texas, West Palm Beach, Fla., and Knoxville, Tenn., died Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002. Services were Monday at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Barry Howard, Rev. Don Kimbrough and Dr. Phil Majors officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery in Corbin. Mrs. Bolding was born in Walters, Okla., the daughter of the late Homer A. Hyde and Lula Mae Greer Hyde. She lived in Friona, Texas, from 1929 until 1940 when she graduated from Friona High School. She attended Hardin Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. She held degrees from Texas Tech University and Draughans Business College, both in Lubbock, Texas, and Bible Baptist Seminary, Fort Worth, Texas. She was the mother of Jan Bolding of Corbin and Mark Bolding and his wife Julia of Columbia, S.C. She is also survived by a grandson, Jason Lowry; a sister, Eva Dean Kimbrough and husband, the Rev. Don Kimbrough of Friona, Texas; two brothers, the Rev. Omer E. Hyde and wife, Neva, of Tacoma, Wash., and Dr. Truell W. Hyde of Killeen, Texas; and a multitude of nieces, nephews and friends who celebrate her life. Michael Carter of River Road Baptist Church officiating. Arrangements are by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Martin Road Chapel. Mr. Parden moved to Amarillo 60 years ago from Alabama. He retired from Amarillo Hardware in 1972. He worked as a security guard for 10 years at Tascosa Country Club. He was a member of River Road Baptist Church. He married Vernice Marlow in 1942 in Alabama and she preceded him in death in 1992 in Amarillo. He was also preceded in death by a son, Wayne Clyde Parden, and three daughters, Julia Ann Simpson, Eunice Clyde Kitchens and Margaret Zimmerman. Survivors include two sons, James Parden of Amarillo and Silas Parden of Fairhope, Ala.; special family friend, Veda "Vicki" Essay of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Chilton married Lona Bentley in Las Vegas, Nev., March 5, 1977. He was retired from Roadway and was a member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church. He is survived by many friends and family that love him and will miss him dearly. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Michelle; two sons, David and Doug; his mother, Frances; a grandchild; two nephews and two nieces. The family suggests memorial to a favorite charity.
