Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Rhodes, of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. Beavers was born Jan. 6, 1919, in Amarillo. She married Curtis Floyd Beavers on Oct. 15, 1939, in Tulia. Survivors include a daughter, Alene Thomas of Dimmitt; a son, Johnnie Beavers of Plainview; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 19, 2002 Kenneth Ray Banks PAMPA - Kenneth Ray Banks, 66, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Banks was born in Wilson, Okla. He began working as a dirt contractor in Pampa and it later evolved into a landscape business. He was retired. He served in the Navy from 1954 until 1958. He then served in the Reserves until 1962. He married Phyllis Rose in 1968. He later married Marie Woodruff in 1991. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1998; and a brother, Olen Banks, in 1983. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Ray Banks Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Carla Thomas of Kiefer, Okla., and Debra Banks-Parson of Amarillo; six grandchildren, Casey, Amanda, Michael, Robert, Bailey and Christian; and a great-grandchild, Isaac. The family will be at 4100 N.E. 32nd Ave. in Amarillo today and 739 E. Albert in Pampa on Tuesday. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Harold Eggert, pastor of New Life Assembly of God, officiating. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Jeremiah was born June 17, 2002, in Borger. Survivors include his parents, Jesus and Jennifer Villegas of Pampa; grandparents, Bill and Cristy Shouse and Jesus and Eulogia Villegas, all of Pampa; and two brothers, Jesus Villegas Jr. and Javier Villegas, both of Pampa. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 19, 2002 Elsewhere Greta Sue Colburn RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Greta Sue Colburn, 71, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today in Shinn Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Ed Warren officiating. Mrs. Colburn was born Nov. 25, 1930, in Brice, Texas, the daughter of the late Edwin Lucian and Mary Lou Faye Tice Murff. She was a homemaker and member of the 10th Street United Methodist Church in Amarillo. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Joyce Colburn. Survivors include her husband, Carrol; a stepdaughter, Loretta Wright of Conroe, Texas; a brother, Robert Lynn Murff and wife, Annie, of Amarillo; a sister, Nancy Smith and husband, Paul, of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Cherie Badeen of Conroe; a niece, Christy Scott; and three nephews, Jamie Murff, Kenny Smith and Ricky Smith. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials be to the National Kidney Foundation of Arkansas, P.O.
