Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Paramount Terrace Christian Church with the Rev. Brent Ashby officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by N.S. Griggs and Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. God blessed Tracie and Steve with one of his children. Braden touched and changed many lives in just the 13 months he was here. His life reached out and touched the lives of so many. Through this special child, the eyes and hearts of many glimpsed the heart of God. We would like to thank Early Childhood Intervention, Dr. Habersang and staff, Baptist St. Anthony's nurses, doctors and staff, Northwest Texas Hospital nurses, doctors and staff, Children's Miracle Network, family, friends and many others for their support, prayers and thoughts for our family. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Allen Patterson in 2002. Survivors include his parents; a brother, Tom Patterson of Amarillo; a sister, Brittany Patterson of Amarillo; his grandparents, James and Marie Patterson of Borger, Howard Norris, and Pat and Johnny O'Brien, all of Amarillo; five aunts, Shelley Hatcher and husband, Russell, of Memphis, Tenn., Kim Turrel and husband, Greg, of Lewisville, Toni Fewox and husband, Tom, of Spring, Stacie Knezek and husband, Ken, of Euless, and Peggy Petton and husband, David, of Burleson; and several cousins. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 24, 2002 Angelique Peaches Stevens Angelique Peaches Stevens, 73, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2002. Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church of Canyon with the Rev. Donna Johnston, associate pastor, the Rev. Vince Inman of Abundant Life Fellowship of Borger and the Rev. Roy Wheeler, minister emeritus of Paramount Terrace Christian Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Stevens was honored Tuesday when her Lord and Savior whispered her name. She was born July 6, 1929, in Caddo, Okla., to David and Edna Horn. She married John D. Stevens Sr. on June 1, 1951. She was a graduate of Frank Phillips College and Baylor University with a bachelor's in fine arts. She was a longtime home service adviser for Southwestern Public Service Co. in the Borger and Amarillo area. She was also a licensed massage and aroma therapist. She blessed our world with her many beautiful paintings and her accomplished gardening skills. We will miss her love, inspiration, wisdom, strength, humor and beauty. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a brother, Garland Horn; and an infant grandson. Survivors include a son, John Darrell Stevens Jr. of Fritch; a daughter, Lori Winter of Canyon; four sisters, Gladys Owens of McAlester, Okla., Ester Nichols of Hastings, Neb., Eunice Woods of Fresno, Calif., and Mary Pearce of Casper, Wyo.; two brothers, David Horn and Harold Horn, both of Amarillo; and nine grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Quanah Memorial Park with the Rev. John Spangler officiating. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home. Mrs. Devaney was born July 12, 1936, in Quanah. She had lived in Quanah for the past three years. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Kaye Ayers of Waco and Shari Ilene Baucom of Concord, N.C.; three brothers, Robert Wayne Thornton of Forrest, Ind., Ollie Creighton Thornton of Sun City, Ariz., and James Leo Thornton of Quanah; and five grandchildren. Mrs. Stone was born Sept. 8, 1912, in Stringtown, Okla. She married Earl Stone Sr. in October 1928, in Savoy. Survivors include a son, Earl Stone of Hart; two daughters, Marilyn Covington of Hart and Betty Moore of Amarillo; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Flomot Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Nathan Mulder, pastor of First Baptist Church in Flomot, officiating. A memorial service in Arlington will be at a later date. Arrangements are by Seigler Funeral Home of Matador. Mrs. Cramer was born Jan. 26, 1921, in Flomot. She married Ronald Pace Cramer in 1946. Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Sutton of Tucson, Ariz.; and a grandchild. Amarillo Globe-News, Aug. 24, 2002 Oklahoma Leona Fern Nicholes GUYMON, Okla. - Leona Fern Nicholes, 91, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in Hugoton, Kan. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Bunch-Roberts Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stan Lehnert, pastor of Bethel Church of God, officiating. Mrs. Nicholes was a member of First Church of God. She retired from Avon after 30 years of service. Survivors include a son, C.L. Nicholes of El Paso; four daughters, Meriem Nicholes of Guymon, Delores Breton of Amarillo, Texas, Brenda Nicholes of Cleveland and Charlsye Oblander of Goodwell; three sisters, Jo Packard of Hugoton, and Avis January and Elda Nichols, both of Liberal, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in First Baptist Church of Tucumcari, N.M. Arrangements are by Stevens Funeral Home. Mr. Crane was born Jan. 16, 1915, in Garden City, Kan. He had been a farmer/rancher in Tucumcari since 1949. Survivors include six children, Harold Crane of Tucumcari, Bob Crane of Coleman, Carolyn Thompson and Charles Crane, both of Portales, N.M., George Crane of Yukon, Okla., and Shirley Terry of Johnson City; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to the church libraries of First Baptist Church in Coleman or Tucumcari.
