Private family graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Jim Garrett, senior pastor of Polk Street United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mrs. Mann was born in Chanute, Kan., on March 31, 1904, and lived in Kansas City, Mo., where she graduated from Northeast High School. She married Dr. Earle Mann in 1925 and they moved to Amarillo in 1927. She was an 80-year member of Order of the Eastern Star, a longtime member of Polk Street United Methodist Church and a member of Osteopathic Hospital Auxiliary, serving many volunteer hours. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loved dearly by all. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980; two sisters; and a brother. Survivors include two sons, Dr. Raymond Mann and wife, Betty, of Lubbock and Dr. Maurice Mann and wife, Jeanet, of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Daugherty was born Jan. 13, 1917, in Throckmorton, Texas. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Breum was born Sept. 29, 1940, to Emil and Lois Urbanczyk of Pampa and was raised on the family farm. She was preceded in death by her parents. Hubbard, 93, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2002. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Grace Fellowship Church with the Rev. Mike Linney, her great-nephew, officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mrs. Hubbard, our beloved mother and "Grannie," went home to be with the Lord at age 93 on Wednesday in Panhandle. Nannie was born in Foxburg, Pa., and came to Oklahoma as a girl with her family. She came to Panhandle as the bride of Floyd T. Hubbard in 1926, and they lived there all of their lives with the exception of four years in Albuquerque and seven years in Lincoln, Ark. Always active in her church, The First Assembly of God, her life's passion was teaching God's word and serving others. For a time she owned and operated Hubbard Apartments and in later life, she enjoyed Golden Ages and 55 Plus organizations. She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Marion Hubbard in 1941; and her husband, Floyd, in 1979. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lea Wersonick of Seguin and Darlene Sparks of Wichita Falls; a son, Donald S. Hubbard of Cedar Crest, N.M.; seven grandchildren, Marsha Cavin, Kathy Pratt, Dr. Michael Eklund, Donna Eklund Stone, John Eklund, Kent Hubbard and Kathy Knight; 16 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and cooking for her family and friends. She was a homemaker and member of Hedley Church of Christ. Mrs. Lucero enjoyed singing, traveling and the outdoors. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family. She was preceded in death by four sons, Eddie, Roger, Daniel and Earlee Lucero; and a brother, Juan Trujillo. She married Gilbert Pendley in 1988. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a homemaker. His military service included serving in the Air Force from 1942 to 1945 in England, France and Belgium. He received a Bronze Star with two clusters. He married Laura Lee Howard on Dec. 7, 1946. He worked for Burroughs Corp. for 18 years, ABM Co. and Amarillo Office Machines. He was a member of Toastmasters serving as president in 1974 and 1976. He was also a member of Top Hatter Dance Club. His hobbies included golf, bowling and computers. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Marsha Goebel and husband, Jerry, of Amarillo; two brothers, Fred Farley of Amarillo and Delbert Farley of San Jose, Calif.; a sister, Thelma Whitaker of Amarillo; two grandsons, Eric Goebel and Chris Goebel, both of Amarillo; and two nieces, Sandra Hendrix of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Wanda Davis of Denver. Marty Hamrick, associate pastor of Polk Street United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Quinton Kimbrow of the Methodist Church of Jerome, Idaho, officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Porterfield was born Jan. 22, 1929, to Annie Bell and John William Kimbrow in Lubbock. She graduated from Bovina High School in 1945. After graduation, she continued her education at Tarleton University in Stephenville, graduating in 1955 from the Northwest Hospital School of Nursing. Her duties did not continue in nursing, but with her first husband at Alamogordo and her second husband in the Air Force in Chamble', France. Shy, unassuming, yet fun-loving, she liked to travel, health permitting. She never dreamed of going to the grocery or shopping in shorts or being without her basic make-up. Her duties in nursing involved being head of nursing at the Pavilion, emergency room service at St. Anthony's Hospital, first-aid station at Bechtel Construction and industrial nursing at Iowa Beef Packing Dispensary. Her nicknames included "Sweety," "Aunt Bettye," "Cookie," "Betty Jane," or "B.J." depending upon with whom you are talking. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, John Robert Kimbrow of Orange. Survivors include her husband, Charles; two nieces, Candace Hogge of Galveston and Linda Newcomer of Beaumont; and two nephews, John Philip Kimbrow of Orange and the Rev.
