Burial will be in Olton Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mrs. LaDuke was born Jan. 25, 1911, in Jonesboro, La. She married L.L. LaDuke on July 4, 1930, in Marion, Kan. Survivors include two sons, Max LaDuke of Granbury and Roy LaDuke of Olton; two daughters, Mary Nell Hall of Petersburg and Billie Jean Manuel of Canyon; two sisters, Audie Johnston of O'Brien and Avis Johnston of Waco; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery. Mrs. Brooks married Malcolm Brooks on July 27, 1946. She was a homemaker and a member of Westway Baptist Church. She married Jim Auten on July 11, 1937, in Judsonia, Ark. Survivors include a son, Jimmie Auten of Copperas Cove; two daughters, Jane Hill of Springdale, Ark., and Beverly Curtis of Hereford; two sisters, Ruby Martin of Redondo Beach, Calif., and Mildred Cathey of Wasco, Calif.; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. "Dunk" Porter, 55, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ricky Carstensen, pastor, officiating. Private burial will be in Porter Ranch Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home. Mr. Porter was born to Glen and Madge Glass Porter, prominent early-day Panhandle ranchers, on Dec. 11, 1946, in Wheeler. Dunk graduated from Wheeler High School and attended Oklahoma State University where he played football for four years. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Wheeler. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include two daughters, Kendra Porter and Camille Porter, both of Tulsa, Okla.; a son, Grayson Benson of Amarillo; a sister, Glenda Porter of Wheeler; and a brother, Jim Porter of Wheeler. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Fairview Cemetery with Tom Posey officiating. Arrangements are by Hughs Funeral Home. Mr. Wines was born Oct. 6, 1908, in Sunset. He was a World War II veteran of the Navy. Survivors include his wife, Edna; a son, Jim Edd Wines of Bedford; two daughters, Lois Gilmer of DeSoto and Kay Schreier of Levelland; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 9, 2002 Billy Joe Johnson Billy Joe Johnson, 76, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2002. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ with John Turner, associate minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Johnson was born June 17, 1926, in Pampa and was a lifetime resident of Gray County. He worked for Northern Natural Gas for 31 years, retiring in 1984. He also owned and operated Bill's Custom Campers for the past 38 years, and he farmed in Gray and Armstrong counties. He married Thelma "Jean" Casity on Jan. 4, 1947, in Pampa. He was a member of First Christian Church. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II, serving in the Philippines and receiving a purple heart. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 20, 2000. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Frazier of Pampa; three sons, Jimmy Johnson and wife, Elizabeth, and Jody Johnson and wife, Vicki, all of Pampa, and Gale Martin and wife, Alice, of Midland; two brothers, Floyd Johnson of Pampa and Carl Johnson of Hobbs, N.M.; a sister, Ora Thompson of Pampa; 11 grandchildren, Bret Martin, Dawnya Tomlinson, Alicia Jeter, Jimmy Craig Johnson, Misti Dawn Howe, Angela Porter, Amy Sutherland, Sabrina Johnson, Stacey Johnson, Bradley Johnson and Tiffany Martin; and eight great-grandchildren, Tyler Tomlinson, Julie Jeter, Kayla Jeter, Allyson Jeter, Austin Johnson, Jordyn Johnson, Bradey Porter and Zane Sutherland. Miss Koelzer was born Jan. 28, 1902, in Pilot Point, the daughter of John and Mary Ann Huls Koelzer. She was the caregiver for her parents for a number of years and a full-time aunt for the numerous nieces and nephews. She was an active member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church since 1926. Survivors include a sister, Mary Nogglar of Hereford; and many nieces and nephews including, Lourdel Noggler, Evelyn Blankenship, LaVern Kearns and Alice Hund, all of Hereford. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City by Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. Mr. Riggle was born June 1, 1911, in Endicott, Neb. He married Beaulah Wells on Dec. 12, 1933, in Endicott. Survivors include three sons, Dale Riggle of Amarillo, Texas, Ivan Riggle of Victor and William "Bill" Riggle of Abita Springs, La.; four grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 12 step great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
