Mr. Jackson was born Sept. 20, 1917, in Quanah. He married Norma Fae Owen on Aug. 23, 1941, in Altus, Okla. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pequita Hutchinson of Quanah; a son, Jimmy of Royse City; two sisters, Elsie Lewis of Quanah and Doris Longest of Amarillo; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Burial will be in Paducah Garden of Memories by Seigler Funeral Home. Mrs. Rose was born June 19, 1917, in Anson. She married Barto Rose on Dec. 20, 1939. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia "Jan" Hinton and Evelyn Shanks, both of Childress; a sister, Virginia Andrews of Olympia, Wash.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 16, 2002 Amarillo Helen Sue Camfield Helen Sue Camfield, 69, of Amarillo died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002. Services will be at 1 p.m. today in Paramount Terrace Christian Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Camfield went to high school in Siloam Springs, Ark., and graduated from Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Ark. She married David L. Camfield in Siloam Springs in August 1953. She was a librarian at Bonham Junior High School until her retirement. She was a charter member of Paramount Terrace Christian Church and was very active in the church. She was involved with the quilting club at church and was an avid bridge player. She put up a valiant 2 year battle against cancer and the family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice, and a special thank you to Eric and Dr. Hancock of Harrington Cancer Center. She was preceded in death by her husband in February 1991; her parents, Frank and Evelyn Haxel; and her father-in-law, David G. Camfield. Survivors include a daughter, Cary Spivey and husband, Michael, of Lewisville; two sons, David F. Camfield and wife, Janis, of Amarillo and Peter K. Camfield of Goodwill, Okla.; two brothers, Kenny Haxel and Don Haxel, both of Arkansas; a sister-in-law, Helen Smith of Mattoon, Ill.; her mother-in-law, Christine Camfield of Amarillo; two grandchildren. Mr. Jaramillo was born in Corona, N.M., and had been a longtime Amarillo resident. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He worked as a truck driver for Palo Duro Meat Co. and he loved to fish. Mr. Jaramillo married Cleo Griego on Aug. 31, 1952, in Hereford. He was preceded in death by two sons, Tony Jaramillo Jr. and David Jaramillo; and a daughter, Esther Romero. Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Barbara Stone, Diane Martinez, Karen Reyes and Linda Jaramillo, all of Amarillo, and Antonia Romero of Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Kenneth Jaramillo of Amarillo; three sisters, Delfi Otero, Viola D'Arco and Stella Pasche, all of Albuquerque; two brothers, Joe Jaramillo and Ramon Jaramillo, both of Albuquerque; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Weirton, W.Va., by Schooler Funeral Home, 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Hamilton was born Jan. 6, 1914, in Tyler County, W.Va. She was a member of Polk Street United Methodist Church, Gleaners/Friendship Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women Group and served on Polk Street United Methodist Church Administrative Board. For many years she also served on the Meals On Wheels Board and was associated with many other charitable organizations. Survivors include her husband, Woodrow W. Hamilton; two sons, Gary A. Pettit of Denver and Jack W. Pettit of Dallas; one stepdaughter, Susan Hamilton of Concord, Mass.; one stepson, Jim Hamilton of Murrysville, Pa.; and six grandchildren. Mr. Darnell married Diana Pelzel on Jan. 18, 1958, in Hays, Kan. He retired from the Air Force as a staff sergeant working in supply. Mrs. Ferrel was born in Memphis on Dec. 27, 1920, the daughter of Posten F. and Mary Elizabeth Woodard Craver. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. A former longtime resident of Amarillo, she has been an Avon representative for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Claude Ferrel in 1984; a brother, P.F. Craver Jr.; and two sisters, Estelle McCool and Frances Appleby.
