Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Quanah Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert Bruce, of Lubbock, officiating. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home. Mr. Lowrance was born July 11, 1941, in Quanah, son of Homer Sr. and Mattie Flowers Lowrance. He was a longtime resident of Quanah and graduate of Quanah High School. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Bruce and Gloria Vasquez, both of Lubbock; two sons, Kory Lowrance and Kelly Lowrance, both of Phoenix; a sister, Imogene of Quanah; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 18, 2002 Greg Hoelting NAZARETH - Greg Hoelting, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. John Hickey, pastor, Al Maurer, deacon, and Jerome Brockman, deacon, officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home of Dimmitt. Mr. Hoelting was born March 12, 1916, in Nazareth. He married Christina Albracht on July 26, 1938, in Nazareth. He attended schools in Nazareth and then moved and attended school in Subiaco, Ark. He returned to Nazareth and farmed for 40 years. He was the first mayor of Nazareth, member of the church council, served on the Nazareth school board and served as the Grand Knight of the Nazareth Knights of Columbus. He was also the past president of the Nazareth senior citizens. He enjoyed baseball, playing cards and sitting on his swing visiting with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth; two sisters; and four brothers. Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary Lou Schmucker of Nazareth and Anna Hoelting-Hannaman of San Antonio; three sons, Denis Hoelting of Arvada, Colo., Leroy Hoelting of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Marvin Hoelting of Westminster, Colo.; a brother, Norbert Hoelting of Olpe, Kan.; a sister, Sister Norbert Hoelting of Fort Smith, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Jean, in 1999. Mrs. Willman was born Sept. 5, 1965, in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of Royce Odell and Nola Ennen Denton. She graduated from Clovis High School in Clovis, N.M., in 1984. She earned a licensed vocational nursing certification from South Plains College in December 2000. She had been a resident of Oak Harbor since moving from Lake Dallas in 2002. She moved to Lake Dallas in 2001 from Lubbock, Texas, where she had been a resident since 1988. She married Eric Willman on Sept. 26, 1998, in Lubbock. She had been employed as a medical technologist and a licensed vocational nurse at hospitals in Lubbock, Denton and Oak Harbor. She was a Baptist and a loving wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Eric; a daughter, Dakota Willman of Oak Harbor; her father and mother, Royce and Nola Denton of Goree, Texas; her grandmother, Margaret Ennen of Munday, Texas; her father and mother-in-law, John and Mary Willman of Rapid City, S.D.; five sisters, Janie Denton Cooper of Amarillo, Joni Denton Whiting of Owensboro, Ky., Jeni Denton Oehler of Frankfort, Ill., Patty Hayes of Camp LeJeuene, N.C., and Barbara Denton of Eugene, Ore.; five brothers, Bill Denton of Charlotte, N.C., Tony Denton of Baltimore, Md., Danny Denton of Burlington, Colo., Ronnie Denton of Temple, Texas, and Drew Denton of Goree; and her brother and sister-in-law, Andrew and Terri Leighton. Mrs. Johnson was born May 19, 1957, in Vaughn, N.M., to Maurice Allen Thompson and Katherine Darlene Ashcraft Thompson. She married Dale Johnson on Dec. 20, 1986, in Amarillo. She was a home health-care provider for 28 years and loved helping others. She enjoyed her children, pets, reading and horses. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hollis and enjoyed church work and helping in vacation Bible school. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine Ashcraft Thompson; her father, Maurice Thompson; her grandmother, Dalma Doty in 1980; and her grandfather, Clarence Ashcraft.
