Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Main Street Church of Christ with Mike Reed, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Springlake Cemetery by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home. Mr. Cooper was a retired farmer and served in the Army during World War II. He married Polly Simmons on Nov. 6, 1947, in Springlake. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Robert Cooper of Morton and Gary Cooper of Huntsville; two daughters, Alicia MacDonald of San Antonio and Leona Paddock of McAlister, Okla.; a sister, Julia Faye Hulsey of Olton; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be to Olton Ambulance Association, Box Q, Olton, TX 79064. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 23, 2002 Flavia Briglio Flavia Briglio, 76, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002. No memorial services are scheduled. Arrangements are by Rector Funeral Home, 2800 S. Osage St. Miss Briglio was born in Oklahoma and worked as a principle administrative assistant for the New York Police Department. She moved to Amarillo seven years ago. Survivors include two friends, Mary Henderson of Amarillo and JoAnn Catanese of New York. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 23, 2002 Geraldine C. "Jerry" White Geraldine C. "Jerry" White, 82, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2002. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today in Lake Tanglewood Community Church with the Rev. Lyndall Fletcher of Shiner First United Methodist Church, and the Rev. Roger Hubbard of the church officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview by Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors, Fifth Avenue and Pierce Street. Mrs. White was a longtime resident of Plainview and moved to Amarillo in 1998. She married James G. White on Dec. 27, 1938. She retired from the city of Plainview in 1982 after 20 years. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Charles G. White of Amarillo, Robert E. White of Lubbock and Gerald W. White of Blue Springs, Mo.; two sisters, Zelta Fountain of Amarillo and Evvalyn MacDougall of Lubbock; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 23, 2002 Bailey Payton Stinson MANGUM, Okla. - Bailey Payton Stinson, 88, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Friday in Needwood Cemetery near Lutie, Texas, with Junior Nippert officiating. Arrangements were by Stewart Funeral Service. Mr. Stinson was born Dec. 3, 1913, northwest of Vinson. He worked for Santa Fe Railway for 25 years. Survivors include a daughter, Delta Gaye Stinson of Altus; a son, Claston Stinson of Texas; eight grandchildren; and a special friend, Irma Morgan of Mangum. Amarillo Globe-News, Nov. 23, 2002 Clifton L. Moreland Clifton L. Moreland, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 21, 2002. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Miller, minister of South Georgia Baptist Church, and the Rev. David England, associate pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery by Dunn Funeral Home. Mr. Moreland was born Oct. 23, 1923, in McKinney, Texas. He was a World War II veteran. For 18 years he served as a New Mexico State representative in Santa Fe. He owned and operated the Tucumcari Oil Co., was the Gulf jobber in the Tucumcari area and owned and operated the Moreland Truck Co. Survivors include his wife, Marjie; three sisters-in-law, Betty Skipworth of El Paso, Texas, and Earline Klaverweiden and Mardelle Moreland, both of Tucumcari; and a brother-in-law, Ted Marshall of Truth or Consequences. The family suggests memorials be to Helping Hands Hospice of Tucumcari.
