Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday in Leib Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Curry and Gaylord Cook officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman. Mrs. Gross was a member of Gruver Church of Christ. She graduated from West Texas State University with a bachelor's and master's degree in education. She raised her family while completing her college education. Reta taught for 27 years at Morse, Pringle and Gruver schools, touching many lives. She married Keith Gross June 4, 1976, in Gruver. She was known for her kindness, generosity and card ministry to all. She will be remembered by all those whose lives she touched and her steadfast faith in the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mamie Caddel; her husband in 1998; and a daughter, Jan Huffman in 2002. Survivors include three daughters, Deborah Chisum of Gruver, and Teresa Chisum and Kim Mauzy, both of Aledo; a sister, Ina Terrell of Ralls; two grandsons, Jason Bratcher of Pennsylvania and Jeremy Bratcher and wife, Darla, of Arlington; a great-grandson, Ashton James Bratcher of Arlington; three nieces, Carolyn Moses of Ralls, Donna Williams of Gruver and Sandra Mize of Lubbock. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. McDonald was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Borger. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, R.A. "Mac" McDonald; a stepson, Joe McDonald of Plano; two daughters, Pam Matthews of Midland and Alicia Rodriguez of Houston; and 10 grandchildren. "Junior" Sikes, 81, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, in Amarillo. Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Hobart Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Powell, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Sikes was a Navy veteran who served in World War II. He was a member of Hobart Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Alicia Jo Sikes; two sons, Terry L. Sikes of Lexington, Ky., and David R. Sikes of Phoenix; a daughter, Janna E. Floyd Buford "T.B." Floyd, 93, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors, 5400 S. Bell St. Mr. Floyd was a carpenter contractor from 1951 to 1968 in Amarillo. He married Winnie Rexrode McNeal in 1948 in Amarillo. She preceded him in death in 2001. Survivors include a son, Carl McNeal of Amarillo; two daughters, Karen Lafferty and Joy Allen both of Amarillo; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Mrs. Hamilton was born in Canadian. She retired from BSA Hospital as a nurse and laboratory technician. He was a member of Prayer Temple Church of God in Christ. Survivors include a son, Larry Henry of Lawton, Okla.; two daughters, Rebecca Jones and Georgia Hicks of Amarillo; five stepdaughters; one stepson; two brothers, James Henry of Denver and C.J. Henry of Kansas; five sisters, Rita and Marie of Washington state, Glanna of San Bernardino, Calif., Armetha of New Mexico, Raydell Askew of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Dec. 7, 2002 Phill Durham Phill Durham, 87, of Amarillo, died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. today at N.S. Griggs and Sons Pioneer Chapel. A private family burial will be at Llano Cemetery prior to the memorial services. Arrangements are by N.S. Griggs & Sons Funeral Directors, 2615 Paramount Blvd. Mr. Durham was born in Chillicothe. He married Sue Mouser in 1937 in Vernon. He moved to Erick, Okla., where he operated City Garage before moving to Amarillo, where he became the manager of Sears Automotive Center. He also taught auto mechanics at Amarillo College. He was a member of West Amarillo Christian Church and the Erick Masonic Lodge 237. He touched many lives through his kindness, love, generosity and understanding. He will missed by all those who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, Sue Durham; two sons, Phill Durham Jr. and wife Jeannette and Marc Durham and wife Lynda all of Amarillo; a daughter, Donna Lawler and husband Ted of Amarillo; three sisters, Ida Lee Mabry of Amarillo, Doramel Kilingsworth of Tehachapi, Calif., and Alice James of Hatch, N.M.; a special friend and caregiver, Sue Garner; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He worked as a plumber and pipe-fitter and was a member of the Plumbers & Steam Fitters Local 196 for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Men's Bowling League for 30 years. He was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Pauline Harris in 1998. Survivors include two daughters, Terrie Stewart and Charlotte Tiller both of Amarillo; two sisters, Lorene Barnard of Amarillo and Vallie Futch of Pampa; a brother, George Harris of Wheeler; two granddaughters, Stephanie Mensen and Geneva Tiller of Amarillo; and three great-granddaughters, Savanna Mensen, Skylar Mensen and Alisen Mensen, all of Amarillo.
