Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Hansford Cemetery with the Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Stumpf was born March 7, 1930. She married Dean Stumpf in 1948 at Spearman. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Wilkerson of Flint; a sister, Lois Davis of Katy; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Church of Christ with Michael Crowley, minister, officiating. Burial will be in East Mound Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home. Mr. Carlson was born July 27, 1918, in Mission. He had been a resident of Matador since 1929. Survivors include a sister, Frances Sherrod of Lubbock; and a brother, Joe E. Carlson of Redding, Calif. Amarillo Globe-News, Jan. 4, 2003 Ira Franklin Pyle PLAINVIEW - Ira Franklin Pyle, 69, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003, in San Antonio. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Lemons Funeral Home Chapel with Benny Estes officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park. Mr. Pyle was born Nov. 22, 1933, in Elmore, Okla. He married Gracie Loise McDuffee on Jan. 7, 1974, in Clovis, N.M. Survivors include three daughters, Shelly Hembree of Plainview, and Ralonda Elder and Olivia Fennel, both of Cocoa, Fla.; a son, Chad Pyle of San Antonio; a brother, Floyd Pyle of Olton; a sister, Omega Pyle of Plainview; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Parker was born July 21, 1909, in Anadarko, Okla. He married Martha Ann Sanders in 1931 in Amarillo. Survivors include three daughters, Hazel Harper, Donna Sue Clark and Bonnie Francis, all of Amarillo; four sons, J.D. Osage St., with Bradley Galambos, pastor of Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of San Jacinto Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Sain was born in Cunningham. He lived in Amarillo for 16 years. He worked as a truck driver for 40 years, retiring in 1994. He was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include his wife, Rose; two daughters, Carolyn Asher of San Antonio and Brandy Michele Phillips of Fort Smith, Ark.; three sons, Paul Allen Sain of New Mexico, Kirk Donovan Sain of Dallas and Thurman Wesley Sain II of Amarillo; two sisters, Ann Mulanax and Betty Rose, both of Amarillo; a brother, Donald Ray Sain of Amarillo; and seven grandchildren. Amarillo Globe-News, Jan. 4, 2003 Shelton Key Shelton Key, 88, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2003. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in San Jacinto Church of Christ with J.R. Chism, elder, officiating. It was his desire that his body be bequeathed to Texas Tech School of Medicine for the advancement of medical science teaching and study. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2820 Virginia Circle. Mr. Key was born March 5, 1914, near Little Rock, Ark., to W.F. and Grace Key. He attended Amarillo High School. Mr. Key retired from the Postal Service in 1970. He was a professional announcer at local wrestling and racing events. For several years he coached for the Maverick Boys and Girls Club and Kids Inc. He was a longtime member, instructor and past master of San Jacinto Masonic Lodge No. 1330. He married Joy Lewis in 1935. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1996. Survivors include a son, Tommy and wife, Audrey, of Amarillo; a daughter, Connie Green and husband, Mike, of Athens; two sisters, Martha Norris of Alexandria, Va., and Anna Keene of Walnut Grove, Mo.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Anna Smith of Amarillo. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity. The body will not be available for viewing. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors. Mrs. Hensley was born July 17, 1926, in Guymon. She married Frank Edward Hensley on July 10, 1946, in Liberal, Kan. Mr. Carnagey was a truck driver for Safeway and Homeland Stores in Amarillo, Texas, before retiring in 1988. Survivors include a son, James Carnagey of Edmond; two daughters, Pamela Mitchell of Floresville, Texas, and Jeanette Hulse of Amarillo; three sisters, Glynda Parsons of Shattuck, and Deloris Holland and Verna Word, both of Perryton, Texas; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Arrangements were by Capital Funeral Care and Cremation Society. Mrs. Cates was born in Amarillo, Texas, on Sept. 13, 1914. She married S.L. Cates on Dec. 21, 1939. She graduated from Amarillo College and attended Texas Tech University. She was a long-standing member of Polk Street United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years. Survivors include her sister, Mary Katherine Bishop of Austin, Texas; a daughter, Margaret Cates Glueck and husband, Howard, of Austin; a son, Kenneth N. Cates and wife, Betsy, of Raleigh; and four grandchildren, Elizabeth Cates, Carey Cates, Brian Glueck and Kevin Glueck, of whom she was especially proud.
