Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mrs. Elliott was born June 23, 1915, in Aberdeen, to John Henry and Mattie Gertrude Bryant. She married Chester Floyd Elliott in 1931 in Tucumcari, N.M. She was a homemaker, loved to make dolls, and most of all, she loved her husband, children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Jerry Elliott in 1961; and Larry Elliott in 1969. Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Sheila Bittick and Roxanna Turner, both of Amarillo, and Shirley Petrey of Rowlett; four sons, Charles Elliott of Rhome, Bill Elliott of Heber Springs, Ark., Jack Elliott of Haskell-Benton, Ark., and Sammy Elliot of Garland; a brother, Randall Wilson of Arlington; 21 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She married Wesley Barton on April 30, 1949, in Amarillo. Mr. Key was born to John W. and Laurie Key on Aug. 16, 1919, in Amity, Ark., moving to Amarillo at the age of 4. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1939. He served for three years in the Navy in the South Pacific. Karl worked in the used car and hubcap business for many years. Survivors include his wife, Onetia; three nephews, Richard Price of Hereford, Mike Delano of Slaton and Raymon Delano of Amarillo; and a niece, Susan K. Fox of Amarillo. She was a good, caring, loving mommy and devoted wife. She attended San Jacinto Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wayne Gunnels. Mrs. King was born Nov. 24, 1937, in Los Angeles and passed away peacefully at home Tuesday morning with her family. She married Ernest King on May 16, 1954, in Roswell, N.M., and Amarillo had been their home since 1962. Jean was a faithful servant of Jesus, always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She will be greatly missed not only by her family and friends, but her church family at Central Church of Christ as well. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Robert King, Randy King and David King and wife, Amy, all of Amarillo; a daughter, Gina Wilson and husband, John, of Midlothian; five grandchildren, Brandon Wilson and Ashton Wilson, both of Midlothian, and Aaron King, Hailey Dietrich and Sara King, all of Amarillo; and she leaves behind an extended family of friends and loved ones too numerous to name. Mr. Stephenson was born Jan. 26, 1973, in Bartow, Fla. He married Kim O'Neal on Sept. 18, 1999, in Shamrock. Jamie was a carpenter and had lived in Shamrock for 13 years. Mr. Bennett was born Feb. 13, 1914, in Moore County. On Dec. 31, 1935, he married Loretta "Lolly" Eloise Delaney in Amarillo. Jesse and Lolly were in business as distributors for Shamrock Petroleum from the 1940s to the 1970s in Dumas, Dalhart and Santa Fe, N.M., until his retirement. He resided in Dalhart for the past 41 years. Jesse was recently recognized as a 60-year member of Masonic Lodge of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife in May 2000. Survivors include two sons, Jim Bennett and wife, Jeanie, of Dumas and Chuck Bennett and wife, Helen, of Dalhart; a daughter, Mary Alice McLarty and husband, Don Brown, of Dallas; a sister, Shelly Tipton of Dumas; 10 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Mr. Burton was born Nov. 9, 1923, in Baca County, Colo. He served in the Army during World War II.
