Mr. Martin was born Oct. 28, 1921, in Clarendon. He was a truck driver all his life and an Army veteran. He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Hereford. He was an Army Quarter Master Sergeant. Services will be at 2 p.m. today in the First Baptist Church with Rodney Skelton, son-in-law, Frank Ray Campbell, nephew, and Edwin Campbell, son, officiating. Burial will be in Claude Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon. Mr. Campbell was born June 28, 1911, in Quitaque and had been a resident of Armstrong County for more than 60 years. He married Jennette Moore on March 9, 1947, in Claude. She preceded him in death on Jan. 2, 2001. He had been a rancher most of his life. He served in the eighth Air Force Division of the Army Air Corps during World War II in London, England. He was a member of the Harold Gist Post of the American Legion in Claude, a lifetime member of the American Quarter Horse Association and a member of First Baptist Church in Claude. Casket bearers will be grandsons, Brandon Vincent, Jerrid Vincent, Jeremy Vincent, Chad Campbell, Orry Skelton and Heath Skelton. She lived in Pawnee, Okla., for many years before retiring to Clarendon. She then moved to Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Elaine Crider; her mother and father; brothers; and a sister. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She married Paul Townsend on May 31, 1931, in Clovis, N.M., and he died in action during World War II. She married Fred Nunn on Sept. 25, 1961, in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 2002. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Chado was born Nov. 19, 1915, in Nazareth, to Mathias and Ann Rosalie Suepher Gerber. She married Stanley Chado on Sept. 9, 1940, in Nazareth. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1987; and a sister, Ann Woelfle in 1966. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Funeral Home, Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Dutch was born June 9, 1918, in Wellington, Kan., where he later attended school. He married Madonna Cain on Feb. 11, 1942, in Amarillo. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a fireman for several years. He retired from the maintenance department of the Amarillo Air Force Base in 1970. He was also a retired carpenter and builder for Amarillo and around the state of Texas. He was a World War II veteran serving in the Coast Artillery of the Army in Houston. Dutch will be missed very much by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister; and four brothers. Survivors include his wife; a son, Rodney Metz and wife, Judy, of Wellington, Kan.; three daughters, Drena Frady and Karen Metz, both of Albuquerque, N.M., and Cheryl Carroll and husband, Trent, of Amarillo; a sister, Neoma Sidebottom of Ridgecrest, Calif.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends including his special pet schnauzer, Snowbaby. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in the Stratford Cemetery. Mrs. Tennyson was born June 19, 1917, in McAlester, Okla., to J.L. and Ida Johnson. She graduated from Amarillo High School. She had worked as an Avon representative where she was recognized for outstanding sales. In 1982 she was awarded Mother of the Year at First Baptist Church in Stratford. She had also worked for many years in the nursery at First Baptist Church in Stratford. She had been the director for Senior Citizens at Stratford. She was a member of Chaparral Hills Baptist Church. She married Grover B. Hampton on Nov. 4, 1936. He preceded her in death on June 12, 1968. She later married Charles "Ray" Tennyson on June 5, 1988. He preceded her in death on June 20, 2002. Survivors include two sons, Ralph Hampton of Kerrick and Larry Hampton of Dumas; a stepson, Charles R. Tennyson Jr. of Indianapolis; three daughters, Sharon Wiebe, Lela Hager and Margie Huff, all of Amarillo; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Fields of Southlake; a sister, Cora Ward of Amarillo; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. He served the floral industry as a wholesale florist for 49 years. In 1972, along with his partner, Joe Harris, he opened J&E Wholesale Floral Company. He served as wholesale director of the Texas State Florist Association. He was a charter member of the West Texas-New Mexico Florist Association and served as president in 1987. He was Florist of the Year in 1989 and received the distinguished "Silver Rose" award in 1993. He was an avid fisherman and had lots of stories to tell. He married Tara Jean Wall in 1954 at Childress.
