Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Toby Henson, pastor, and the Rev. Bill Stiles officiating. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home. Mrs. Killingsworth was born July 20, 1907, in McAlester, Okla., to Walter Allen and Minnie Olar Kelley Thompson. She attended school in McAlester. She married Jesse D. Simmons on Aug. 17, 1928, in Collingsworth County. They moved to Wheeler County in 1928 and he died in 1935. She married Clarence O. Killingsworth on Feb. 11, 1937, in Wheeler. She was a member of First Baptist Church, where she taught various Sunday school classes and was a member of the hostess committee. She was past president of Wheeler County Gospel Singing Convention and North Wheeler County Garden Club that planted the pecan trees on the Wheeler County courthouse square. She was preceded in death by her first husband; her second husband in 1981; and a grandson, Jesse L. Simmons in 1999. Survivors include a son, Virgil Simmons of Wheeler; a daughter, Elwanda Gille of Littleton, Colo.; six grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Forgan Cemetery in Forgan, Okla., by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Revert operated a beauty shop from 1954 to 1961. She married William G. "Bill" Revert on April 16, 1941, in Dallas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Perryton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Jennie Griffin; and her husband in 1994. Survivors include a daughter, Sherill McLearen of Wichita Falls; a granddaughter, Velaura Hewitt of Wichita Falls; and a great-granddaughter, Kaitlynn Hewitt of Wichita Falls. He was preceded in death by his wife, Earlene Moore; his father; and three sisters, JoRean Hubbard, LaVeta Williams and Sherry Moore. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Shockley was born April 5, 1919, in Shamrock. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Ninth and Bliss Church of Christ in Dumas. She married W.A. "Bill" Shockley on April 8, 1939, in Shamrock. She was a Moore County resident since 1941 and a Dumas resident since 1958. She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 30, 2000. Amarillo Globe-News, Feb. 26, 2003 Helen E. Biddle VEGA - Helen E. Biddle, 91, died Sunday, Feb. 23, 2003, in Hereford. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Vega with the Rev. John Jeffreys and the Rev. James Peach, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Vega by Boxwell Brothers at Vega. Mrs. Biddle was born Dec. 13, 1911, in Okmulgee County, Okla. She married L.L. "Lem" Biddle on June 28, 1937, in Okemah, Okla. After their marriage they moved to the J.S. Bridwell Ranch, west of Adrian. They moved to Vega in 1943. Mrs. Biddle had been an active member of First Baptist Church since moving to Vega. She taught Sunday school and Sunbeams. After an injury to her husband in 1958, she took over the farming operation. She retired from farming in 1976. Mrs. Biddle also worked in several restaurants and managed a ceramic shop. For more than 50 years she was a member of Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of Oldham County Extension Homemakers Club and Vega Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1975; a brother, Rodney Bell; and a sister, Jean Watkins.
