Mrs. Bradley was born Sept. 3, 1925, in Big Lake, to Nora and Julius Levi Vaughn. She moved to the Dalhart-Middlewater area in 1937 and lived there until June 2002, when she moved to Amarillo. Bonnie married Archie Lee Floyd on Dec. 31, 1941, and they had four children. Bonnie married Jack Bradley on Sept. 29, 1968, in Taos, N.M. Their blended family also included Tillman Bradley and Jack Lynn Bradley. Bonnie was a great lady who loved life and loved her family and friends. She always gave more than she took. To the world she was but one woman, to her family she was the world. She was preceded in death by her first husband; and her second husband on Jan. 3, 2000. Amarillo Globe-News, March 12, 2003 Buster Ivory PAMPA - Buster Ivory, 79, died Monday, March 10, 2003. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with Clem McSpadden of Chelsea, Okla., officiating. Music will be by Joe Lucas of Edmond, Okla., and Red Steagall. Mr. Ivory's remains will be returned to the home ranch. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors. Mr. Ivory was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Alturas, Calif. He married June Bull on July 29, 1954, in Cheyenne, Wyo. He had been a resident of Pampa since 1958, moving here from Denver. He was a third-generation Irish ranch-rodeo family from Modoc County, Calif., entering his first rodeo at MacArthur, Calif., in 1938 at the age of 15. He was declared All Around Cowboy by winning $58.00 for first place in the bull riding and splitting half in the steer stopping. He incorporated the Rodeo Cowboys Association, served as secretary/treasurer for four years and negotiated and signed rodeo's first TV contract. He was selected as the 1978 Rodeo Man of the Year. He was National Finals livestock superintendent for the first 26 consecutive years, and served as bucking chute boss for three of those years. He served as a rodeo judge, arena director, technical adviser for many varied rodeo venues, and produced international rodeos around the world. He was a two-time Hall-of-Famer; 1990 Rodeo Historical Society/National Cowboy Hall of Fame at Oklahoma City, 1991 Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame at Colorado Springs, Colo., and was selected as the 1999 recipient of the prestigious Ben Johnson Award. He was truly a rodeo renaissance man. His career highlights included: technical adviser for Indian National Finals Rodeo; judge for the first National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association Finals in 1949 at San Francisco; producer, general manager, livestock supervisor and/or arena director for several international rodeos including, World's Fair rodeos in Brussels, Belgium and Montreal, Canada, and Rodeo Far West in three European countries; involved with Marlboro Western Promotions in foreign countries and a special Western horse attraction for the Queen of England; manager for the San Francisco Cow Palace Rodeo for three years; co-manager and co-producer for the Cody Nite Rodeo with Jim Ivory for four years; stock superintendent for The World's Richest Roping for 16 years; and bucking chute boss, National Finals Rodeo, for three years. He was inducted into the National Cowboy Hall of Fame/Rodeo Historical Society of Oklahoma City in 1990; inducted as a notable into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs in 1991; acquired and assembled information and photographs for the book, "100 Years of Rodeo Stock Contractors" from 1995 until 1997; and inducted into the Texas Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2001. He competed in saddle bronc, bareback, bull riding and team roping at major rodeos. He finished several times in the top six saddle bronc riders for World Championship honors. He retired in 1968 and finished his 30-year career as first-place winner in the saddle bronc riding on Reg Kesler's "Steel Grey." He joined the Cowboys Turtle Association, the first professional rodeo association in 1938, and had remained a member of the associations of professional rodeo for 64 years. He was a gold card member of Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association. The name of Buster Ivory is synonymous with rodeo. Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Patti Charles and Mike Ivory, both of Oakdale, Calif., and Polly Stanton Johnson of Parowan, Utah; a brother, Edward Ivory of New South Wales, Australia; two nephews, John Ivory and wife, Sandy, of Ouray, Colo., and Jim Ivory and wife, Cathy, of Cody, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a great-nephew, Buster Ivory II of Cody. Mr. Frazier was born Jan. 23, 1942, in Dalhart, to Sherman T. and Wilma L. Cash Frazier. Earl grew up in Dalhart and had worked for 39 years for Mission Theater and three years for Bartlett Lumber. Earl married Dorothy Murray on Aug. 28, 1965, in Clayton, N.M. In 1998, for their 33rd wedding anniversary, Dorothy and Earl renewed their vows in Las Vegas. Earl helped raise three generations of children at the movie theater. He was a member of Lincoln Street Baptist Church. Known as Papa by his grandchildren, Earl enjoyed grandkids, woodworking and collecting pocket watches. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son-in-law, Matt Pugh; and two sisters, Shirleen Frazier and Donna Matthews. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Shattuck Memorial Cemetery in Shattuck, Okla. Mrs. Graham was born Aug. 30, 1909, in Canada. She married Jack Graham in 1929 at Woodward, Okla. She and Jack moved to Amarillo from Borger in 1934. Mrs. Graham was a homemaker who was well known for her sewing and cooking abilities. She was a member of Central Church of Christ for many years. She also was a member of Daughters of the Nile for more than 50 years. She was a longtime Garden Club member. In her youth, she was a star of the girl's basketball team and swim team in high school. She was preceded in death by her husband, Z.J. "Jack" Graham; and her only son, Dan Graham. Survivors include three grandchildren, Debbie Gonzalez, Diana Severe and Daniel Graham, all of California; her caregivers, Charlotte and Doyle Miller of Amarillo; close friends, Seth and Janice Thomas, Francis Roland, Erleen Warren; and the people who so thoughtfully cared for her at Ware Memorial. She then moved to Philadelphia and began working for American Tobacco Co. She worked there until her retirement in 1978. She moved to Amarillo in 1996 to be with her family. She was a lifelong member of the Roman Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella Kozicki, Josephine Farionchuk and Wilda Tylinski; and a brother, Joseph Rogalski. Mrs. Cook was born July 11, 1913, in Arlington, Kan., to Fred and Lydia Baker. After completing high school, she met Verne Cook, a civil engineer from Amarillo and they were married on Aug. 21, 1934. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and most of her life she was a homemaker. After the death of her husband in 1965, she embarked on a selling career, first in gift shops and later at Trolley Car Boutique, where she enjoyed matching young girls with beautiful gowns. Throughout her life, Mary Ellen was a strong Christian who set a loving example to her children and grandchildren. They will always remember her singing and beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her husband on Nov. 27, 1965; a sister, Marjorie Mouw in 2001; and a brother, Turner Baker in 2002.
